Perfect for 2010 Ford Focus SE
My original knob shifter deteriorated in the FL heat, got a glow-in-the-dark knob a couple years ago but always hated the exposed threads beneath it and the skinny shift stick showing.Randomly came across this adapter while looking for other car accessories and it fits exactly as I’d hoped!There was a slight gap between the top of the adapter and the knob, but I just drilled into the knob with a carbide burr and smoothed it out with a spherical rotary bit. If you have a similar knob off Amazon, you may have to alter it slightly to deepen the original hole, but it’s a simple fix.Now the knob sits flush with the adapter, and the threading fits tight. No more loose, wiggly shifting!Very pleased with this one 🚗 💨

Exactly what I wanted
I changed my Tacoma’s shift knob to this TRD knob from the FJ but the shaft would be exposed and wasn’t the cleanest look.This was exactly what I wanted and very easy to install. Makes this look OEM and feels great!

Works Perfect
I bought a Dewhel shift knob for my 2014 Mustang GT and needed a boot retainer to clean up the look. This was exactly what was needed. It also can be used to align your shift knob to face right the right direction since both are threaded and butt against each other.

Needs altered for numbered shift knobs.
So if you want your numbers to line up you can't really use the threaded option. I already had a boot stop on the shift stem. So I just ground out the threads and used some double sided tape so it didn't spin. I was just using it to hide the exposed shift stem after I put a ball knob on instead of a oem long knob. For a Manuel 2009 scion.

Doesn't fit 2013 Subaru WRX.
Did not fit 2013 Subaru WRX. Boot opening WAY too small to fit over this.

Couldn't find one that was m12x1.75
Couldn't find one that fit a mustangs m12x1.75 thread pitch, so I bought this one and drilled the threads out and opened the lowest part of the hole a little bit with a drill and it fits nicely on a steeda tri-ax shift lever. Threads were nice, quality is nice

frequently returned item because it will not fit the boot It says its supposed to fit.
Says it's a 12x1.25 but will not fit the 12x1.25 boot shifter for the scion frs 2013-2016
