Entertaining and Exciting
I'm Ryan (8 years old; my mom is typing for me), and this book held my interest. I spent about 40 minutes reading it. The hidden pictures made the book extremely interesting and fun. The illustrations were realistic and full of details. The information in the book seemed accurate. The pronunciation guide was very helpful. I learned some new names. Here are a few of the new names: Coelurus (sih-LUR-uhs), Camarasaurus (CAM-uh-ruh-SAWR-uhs).I did not know there were more books in this series. I will start getting them!

A very Entertaining Read for the whole family!
I found one of these books in the Library "A Day in the City" and brought it home with in the day everyone of my children 20 years to 6 years had throughly scoured the book to find all the things that were recorded with in, It even entertained myself as I read it and searched the pictures with my youngest. I have since brought home "A Year on a Pirate Ship", "A year on a Farm" and "A Year at a Construction sight." I highly recommend this series of book for any family.

Very informative and interesting
These books (A Year in the world of...) are wonderful. there is so much hiding in the pictures (sort of like a where's waldo concept) that the kids never get tired of reading them. They are interesting, so much that I don't mind reading them over, and over, and over, and over.....
