(Short XL) Pants fit perfectly! With the weather liners (for wet and for cold) installed inside the pants, the pants fits tightly. Without, there is lots of room inside letting you wear jeans underneath. I was skeptical at first if the size of this pant would fit me right, and that I would order the next larger size of it in case it wasn’t. However, as for very few occasion in my life, this was a perfect fit. Let me give you the size for my pants so you know what to expect. I’m about 5’10” tall and wear blue jeans size 38” (tight) with a 30” inseam, weighing about 235 lbs. The material seems very sturdy and it looks like it is a good protection if needed in case of an incident. The pants with all the protective layered liner is heavy and a great barrier against rain and cold. The zippers are working easily and they look like they are sturdy also. I will leave another review after I get some more usage out of it. Hope that this helped a little in making a decision about the size.

I went with the regular-length medium since others were saying how short they were, and I measure it at 32" inseam (I normally wear a 30" inseam jeans). So I figured the "extra" 2 inch of length would be enough for the bent knee riding position of my FJR. What I didn't realize is the over-pant design causes me to wear them above my belt on my under-pant (jeans) which brings up the inseam higher than usual, and thus it is too short still. IF they made a long version at 34" inseam, that would be perfect. Getting the large only gets another +0.5" to length. Otherwise the fit is good, a bit stiff (expected at this price point), but the leg zippers on the liners are not long enough for boots(sz10). rear zipper zips right to left as you are looking at it from behind (opposite my Olympia jacket)

Very comfortable riding pants! Small enough to roll up, without the liners, and only use 1/3 of my saddle bag on my Street Glide. Either of the liners wouldn't take up much room, very efficient design.I'm 6-00, 200lbs. I usually wear a 34x34 jean. The XL long fit me perfectly.

Rock solid pants for cold winter conditions. I ‘ve been riding in winter at all times and I don’t even feel cold.

Update. After a few ride with it the leg zipper ripped apart under normal use. Good thing I didnt need to rely on it, otherwise it would have been very Bad as it would have surely failed. Wish there is a way to return this

The Joe Rocket pants seem to be well made, with much attention to detail. Took a ride the other morning with the temp around 21F and I was very comfortable (and I do not like cold). My only issue (which is to be expected), is that the pants limited my range of motion concerning my legs. They made it difficult to swing my leg over my bike to mount it. My hope is that after use, they might loosen up a bit. It has three layers, external protection, a rain liner , and a insulating liner. Both liners can be removed via a zipper. Utilizing just the protective layer, my range of motion was much improved.

I bought them from a local shop, I had checked them out on Amazon, and Joe Rocket web site.They are great riding pants. They have kept me warm on super cold rides back, and forth to work the temps near zero degrees.

Pants seem good so far. Decent price. Bought them because they match my jacket.
