This leash is all of the above: sturdy, durable, easy to hold & use... which is why I gave it a five star rating.But.... the only problem I have with it is that it came smelling musty (like it was stored in a moldly basement). It also had that nice smell of leather, but the mustiness odor overwhelmed the nice leather smell. I used saddle soap, leather conditioner (used on horse bridles), Pinesol, baking soda in a plastic bag. Nothing worked until I soaked it in linseed oil ( which is used to condition leather).It is a nice product, but storage in the warehouse should be addressed so the leashes do not acquire that awful musty odor.

Love the look and feel of this leash. My two pups, a 6 lb maltese and 4 lb yorkie, walk comfortably on this leash with it attached to their harnesses. I was concerned that the leash may be too heavy, however, holding the loop in my left and where it splits in my right hand, there is no heaviness for them to deal with. The two leads that are attached are just the right size for my small dogs and the length works well for them to walk comfortably side by side or one behind the other. Overall I feel this leash was an incredible find especially for the price!

I was surprise at how good the quality on this leash is. It works great, and I LOVE the swivel that keeps the two extensions from getting entangled. The leather is genuine and the width of the leash itself is perfect, not too thick but not so thin that it will stretch out.

The leash is heavy duty. The Y section is very thin. My 10-month-old dog was able to chew threw it in minutes.

It looks and feels very sturdy. Stylish

This is a quality leash advertised for puppies or small dogs. The hardware which is very sturdy makes it a bit heavy for small dogs (around 8 lbs each) and that is my only gripe. Nice, leather, quality hardware but should be lighter weight hardware IMO

It arrived in this little brown box, I could smell that wonderful leather smell immediately! I took the leash out of the box (that was so nicely placed in the box….) the leather was so soft, felt so nice, and smelled so fresh and new. Seems to be great quality.Then the real test, hooked up the pups and took them out. They did amazing and never got tangled, not once. I could feel the leather stretch when the dogs pulled but that’s normal I think with new leather. This leash is so much lighter than my old leash…. The center swiveled piece wasn’t dragging the ground like the older black leash. I also love the fact the swiveled piece doesn’t have a hook like the old black one. ( a couple times while walking the pups somehow that hook came open and the dogs took off and almost got hit by a passing car. I knew I had to find a better solution and leash. The handle felt great in my hand but The true test will come after time and I see if this holds up and doesn’t come apart… so far I love it!!!! If you have 2 smaller dogs this is a great option. ( my Pomeranians are 8-10 pounds.) this leash is so much lighter and so much safer. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come apart… so far I’m super happy!!!!!!

Love this leash with coupler for so many reasons. The dogs don't get their legs tangled in their leashes anymore. I don't have to untwist 2 leashes many times as I walk them anymore. They can zig zag as much as they want and I have zero problems. It's long enough that I don't step on them if they stop to sniff. Great leash. I am so happy to have found this for my two 15 pound Cavaliers!
