Like a lot of good things in life, it all started with a motorcycle. An obsession with motorcycles and motorcycle gear morphed into the launch of Joe Rocket in 1994, manufacturing quality motorcycle jackets. Joe Rocket’s “Phoenix” nylon jacket sold a hundred thousand pieces because the perforated, fully armored jacket was the first to provide serious hot weather protection and keep the rider cool. Then after sponsoring 17-year-old Nicky Hayden, Joe Rocket became etched in motorcycle racing culture. Joe Rocket went on to expand its motorcycle gear to include helmets, pants, luggage, boots, and gloves - all designed ahead of the curve of protective motorcycle apparel. MENS ATOMIC 5.0 JACKET. Combined Waterproof treated Rock Tex and Hitena outer shell for maximum impact resistance. Externally accessible C.E. approved armor in shoulders & elbows. Removable Spine Armor with Pocket for Optional C.E. Spine Protector. Variable Flow ventilation system with waterproof zippers. Cross Linked Ventilation with Wind Tunnel Cooling Patent Pending. Full Flex articulated back expansion panels. Comfort neoprene cuff design. 6 point Sure Fit custom adjustment system. 2 outside pockets, 1 internal chest pocket. Large padded lower back storage pocket. 8” zipper plus 2 belt loops for jacket to pant attachment. Removable insulated full sleeve liner with internal pocket. 360-degree Reflective panels & logos.

Do not expose to temperatures above 40°C
Or at least, that's what the laundry directions say - cold water only, hand wash, line dry, no iron, no bleach, do not expose to over 40°C. Glad I didn't buy it when I lived in Phoenix! It's fine for the Bay Area though, lots of misty mornings and sunny afternoons where it keeps me dry, warm, and cool respectively. Pictured - pocket on bottom of back, reflective stripes on shoulderblades and sleeves, adjustable waist strap, and zippers to remove elbow and shoulderpad armor. Not pictured, POCKETS, cozy and snug inner lining, double front zippers for keeping it closed over your straining beer belly, mesh-and-velcro inner foam pad spine "armor" pocket, and zippers that open up the front a bit to allow a nice breeze to flow over your nips.Jokes aside, it's comfortable and sturdy; my helmet sits well in the collar, I can hold my gloves and keys and wallet and registration and probably a sandwich in the pockets, and I get to work dry from the waist up which is all anyone cares about in Zoom or Teams.

Excellent
Excellent riding jacket my son actually laid his bike down like 3rd time he wore the jacket the jacket got dirty put didn't rip, tear or fray can't even see any slide makes on it and best of all his elbows or arms didn't get a scratch said there weren't even sore so the jacket is worth every penny ....side note he was also wearing a pair of the joe rocket gloves and they held up just as good and he didn't even get a scuff on his hands....Joe Rocket makes Excellent riding riding gear thanks Joe Rocket 👍

NIce 3 in 1 jacket - Love the Joe Rocket brand jackets
I am 6'0, 250 lbs. And, needed a jacket that is warmer than my mesh Joe Rocket jacket. This one came just fine, the liner fits well and the cuffs fit under my gauntlet style gloves no problem.I have been out riding a couple times, and really like the pocket locations.Only downside is the range of motion is somewhat limited when lifting my arms above shoulder height. But, all other range of motion is great.

Great Jacket for the cost
This Joe Rocket jacket isn't the best out there but for the price I consider it's the best value. The seller MC Powersports are good people. I had a issue with sizing and they did a great job solving my issue. For me the jacket runs little on the small size. I have not tested the waterproofing of the jacket yet. I'm very happy with the purchase of this jacket.

Decent jacket for the money
Pros: Comfortable fit, removable zip in liner, adjustable waist and sleeves.Cons: The zippers are at the lower end of the quality spectrum. The "R" emblem on the back of the jacket near the collar is definitely crooked. This doesn't impact any performance, it just irritates me.Overall, it's a decent jacket for the money.

Good fit will Follow with long term review
This isn’t my first textile jacket, however it’s my first joe rocket jacket. It fits really well I got a xl, I’m 6’1” and about 210 lbs. normally get large tall carhartt jackets and fit a large T shirts normally. The xl is perfect fit. Maybe a little bulky but with the side straps to adjust how tight the jacket is around your waist it works well. Time will tell if the jacket holds up and if the thermal liner works well in NW Pennsylvania fall and spring months. The size was an important question for me and I wanted to get this review out to help others.

No matter what you pay, you will not find a better motorcycle coat
There is nothing too dislike, the coat is everything I hoped for and more. Absolutely fantastic design

Finally one that fits. I’m 196 cm (77 inches) and 240 lbs and it’s hard to get the right size.
Finally one that fits. I’m 196 cm (77 inches) and 240 lbs and it’s hard to get the right size. The 2XL Tall fits perfect. Hard to find gear in tall sizes. Looks really sharp.

Buena chamarra, talla XL no concuerda.

Great jacekt, wind proof, but needs more pockets, tight fit.
Jacket fit a bit small. I'm 192cm and 112kg, and the XL was just barely big enough. Tight sizing prevents layering up and I got a bit cold after an hour or so of highway riding in 10-12C weather. But still quite comfortable to ride in. I don't know about the Chinese crash armor, better than nothing I guess. Only has one slash/napoleon pocket making stuffing phone, wallet a tight fit. I'm made of sugar and will melt in the rain, so I have no idea on the water proofing.

Super chamarra
