Beautiful high quality paper + cover beats leuchteurm. App buggy.
1. Its $8.992. No bleed, rounded corner, cream colored, numbered pages - noticably smoother & 2x thicker than standard paper, but still flips nicely and feels light.3. Thick, Heavy Duty smudge/water/scratch resistant cover beats any leuchterm or moleskine out of the park. Engraved with an intricate pattern that brilliantly hides/blends potential dings, dents and scratches yet still has a strong lustre.4. Comes with heavy duty elastic (10x better than moleskine) with embossed "smartplanner". After pulling opening/closing more than 500 times it shows no loosening or fading. Also, letters make things look trendy and utilutarian. Go parkoo design team.5. Pen included.6. Top notch customer service.7. Fold pretty close to flat8. Compatible with any brand eraseable color - no spotchy/bleeds/runs.Straight out of the box this item looked beautiful and felt tactile. I periodically rub my hand over the cover and embossed letters when I'm bored/daydreaming/restless. I used parkoo's colored eraseable pens. All the colors write smooth with medium pressing, erase cleanly, and don't leave ghosts.I use this is a time tracker - literally make progress reports all day long of how I have used my time down to 15 minute increments so I can eliminate bad habits, low-value activities useless thinking patterns - and celebrate my progress. On the timeslots I log activities, mood and energy level. On the right page I analyze activities and identify obstacles, plan new strategies and habits for next day. The dot grid is barely noticable so I can draw pictures - which erase very well on this paper. The only downside notebook-wise is that the timeslots are not lined - just a column of numbers - 8-20 (military time). No dotgrid on that side so it makes writing very sloppy. Right page dotgrid is so light, I can't see them at regular writing distance. If both pages were dotted with darker dots, it would be worth twice the price - I would buy stacks of these just for drawing and writing exclusive of the app features because its just such a well designed tactile experience and the markings are so light I can draw over them. The pages have standard blockblack squares and number codes for smarnotebook apps. They are unobstrusive and on the margins of the page. The app was clunky and didn't work right out of the box. The picture was easy to take and it self adjusted easily but kept crashing.I contacted customer service and they said they are working on it, and sent me a free product of my choice within a couple of days. That product was the multi colored pen set - which turned out beautifully on this paper and half the price of its competitors. Although this notebook is advertised to work with an app, its almost suitable as a bullet journal for 35% less than competitors price - if only the light dot problem were resolvedFor $11.99 even with a semi-functioning beta-quality app this is the best deal for a hardbound daily planner of this caliber, especially bc its built to be re-useable.I haven't tried sticking it in the microwave to erase the pages, nor have I tried to use the app again (Its been 90 days) so I will update when I do that.

Nice Notebook, Not Great App
Notebook is very nice. Good layout of daily planner on one side and notes capture on other side of spread. But I can't get the app to put the events into my calendar (I am fairly tech proficient, but not a guru). Possibly would be better with updates to app.

Must've got a dud...Useless.
Terrible. Waste of time researching. Waste of money buying. I was so frusturated, I stuck it on the bookshelf where its only use was collecting dust. I forgot about it until moving the bookshelf... Past return time. I bought all the extra accesories. Which were all also a waste of time and money, being the original product was unusable. Not at all what I was really excited about using. Defective or something. Hopefully others have had success. The concept is great. Would give 0 stars if available.

like the idea of smart notebook
I like the idea of smart notebook, it exceeds my expectation. I decided to have one when I suffered from finding my notes from a pile of notebooks. That’s very awful to do this kind of things because I couldn’t remember which notebook and which page I wrote the notes on. When I found this notebook and watched its video description, I decided to give it a shot. It works as described. The notebook came with an erasable pen at 0.7mm point, which makes my writing erasable. The pen is cool, I think I will get more when this is out of ink. The free app is simple and easy to use. I’m now able to send my notes in Evernote and keep track of them easier. The notebook have two kind of pages, plain and dotted. The plain page is kind of planner, I write my schedule and synchronize them on the app, so that to keep track of my daily plans just with a phone. I think this is the best thing for doing notes and plans. It has many function to keep my notes organized, and I will stick to it.

I did a lot of research, and I think it's a great deal.
Sucks that I miss my $3 credit for being the first to write my review. I was trying to collect more info before writing one. However, I am sharing my lessons learned in hopes that it will help you decide.Phone#1: my monthly calendar.Photo# 2: what was sent to my OneNotePhone#3: My own pen loop.First, I have researched many products. This is one of the best deals for the price. I will list my pros, cons, clarifications/lessons learned, and my wish list and tips to the manufacturer.Pros:- like that it comes with an erasable pen, and the pen works well. It also works with other erasable pens.- sync with all devices in OneNote.- lays flat (relatively speaking)Cons:- you could see the ink on the reverse page- all the app notations are in Chinese. The instructions are not clear. I am still not sure what AR is, and how to use it.- I am not clear how the calendar sync.Clarification/Lessons Learned:- need to tab the screen in order to active fingerprint connection- need to write everything within the 4 dark squares in each corner. Anything written outside of the four squares will not be captured (see image 2. I put month above the squares, and it is not showing in the screenshot.)- If you use hair dryer to remove the heat, it will erase writing from the reverse page. If the heat is really strong, it will erase content from other pages. Hence, if you only want to remove content from one page, it would be best to use the eraser.Wish List/Tips to the manufacturer- would love a pen loop (see photo# 3)- The notebook itself says "Smart Planner", but your app says "Smart Notebook". I am confused by the brand. Please stick with one brand and naming convention.- the left page has no numbers for the hour of the day. I start my day at 5 am. I needed to rewrite the numbers to make it work for my schedule.

Did not meet expectations at all.
I concur with the other 2 star reviews. To me it is nothing more than a paper journal with a useless pen and non-intuitive app with Chinese language as a standard for feedback. Could not locate a help file but I will give them a thumbs up for a durable cover and nice design.
