Worked Great on Porcelain Tile
These drill bits were awesome! Used on porcelain tile with no issues. Tiles didn't chip or crack, just got clean, precise holes. I recommend cooling the drill bit in water for a second or two when you see the bit kicking up powder dust. Keeping everything a little wet seemed to help the cutting.I needed something that could drill through a porcelain tile kitchen backsplash to install a hood and everything online said to use a diamond cutting hole saw bit. However, those tend to walk until you get the hole started and I needed precision for mounting locations to keep everything level and centered. Due to the small nature of my tile and the gaps created by the grout lines, I couldn't use a drill bit guide. I really needed a traditional point tipped drill bit and gave these a try. I did a test on a scrap piece of tile and was blown away with how fast and clean they worked. I strongly recommend this product for anyone with a similar situation.

Good if you don't have many holes to drill
The good news is we were able to drill all the holes we needed in very hard porcelain tiles in order to hang a very heavy shower door. It was extremely handy that they include two of each size because we needed both for 6 holes. Unfortunately they were shot at that point. Also a little annoying was that they are only marked in metric--not a dealbreaker since it was easy enough to figure out which size bit we needed. We have a bunch of bits now that we didn't need to use, but at least we had a selection to choose from to match our project. Don't expect to use them multiple times, especially if you are drilling porcelain.

Sharp and went through tile like butter
These bits were for an admittedly small job, but they did the job well. I started with the smallest bit and it did not jump or bounce it drilled right through the mark. When I used the 8MM bit it literally took a few seconds and the hole was perfect. I dipped the bits in hot water every few seconds and it helped keep them cool enough where I didn't burn them out.

Great product for the price -- just make sure you know they're METRIC
These bits seem sturdy enough -- I've been using them for drilling holes in concrete flooring for anchoring transition molding. They work great so far. The only issue I'm having is finding the right anchor sleeves for metric drill holes. But so long as you know what you're getting into (metric) these bits should be fine.

Works for porcelain tile
I purchased these bits to drill into porcelain tile and was a little concerned whether they'd work or not. They did. it was tough going, and i did use water, pausing often to cool the bit and the bit was totally trashed after about 8 holes. The tip of the bit worked really well, easily starting the hole and did not skip across the porcelain. I also used masking or painters tap on top of the porcelain to also avoid skipping.

Cannot drill porcelain.
These drill bits may work well for someone else’s purposes, but they did not work at all for mine. I purchased specifically because it included porcelain in the product name and description, but I could not get more than 1mm into my porcelain after 20 minutes of drilling (yes, I used water.)I had to purchase much higher quality diamond hole saws instead. Misleading title.

So far, so good.
I have only used two of the drill bits so far to mount towel bars on the tile of my bathroom wall. They did a good job of drilling cleanly through the tile with a bit of pressure. If it ever stops raining, I will use one of the bigger bits to drill into the brick outside for mounting a hose holder and update my review then!
