Boye Gutermann 24336 Sew-All Thread 547yd, Slate

I love to crochet tablecloths and bed spreads. My favorite size hook is the 9. I do not like having to buy sets of different sized hooks just to replace a lost size 9 hook. I take my crocheting everywhere, especially on car trips so I can lose quite a few. I really like being able to buy just the one size, even buying several size 9s at a time. A steel crochet hook is quite simple in design so there's not much to say about that. I do find this company's hooks to be uniform in quality. I've had hooks that were not smooth and there would be a resultant catch with the cotton thread. I have not had that happen with Boye.

Boye is a good brand, even though it gets a lot of flack from people, it is my go-to brand for hooks. This one hit the mark for me.
