These bags are just ideal for my homemade bread and fruit loaves, also they are quite strong and more than suitable as freezer bags. Would certainly purchase again and would highly recommend

Sturdy and good for freezing
I got a bread maker in December and bought the fabric bags with plastic lining as wanted a reusable option. The problem is the bread doesn't stay super fresh in those bags, they obviously need to be washed around they will take on a musty smell eventually inside, and they're no good for putting in the freezer. I wanted to try normal plastic bags instead and gave these a shot. These are great and can be used a few times before you need to toss them. I try and use them as many times as I can before they need replacing and a bag of this size will last me while an excess of a year.

Work well in freezer
When I have made a loaf I freeze and place in one of these bags in the freezer. They are a good size and do the job.

Very Pleased With This Product
Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. My 750g very well risen wholemeal loaf fitted easily but I have no idea if a 1kg loaf will fit as I never make my loaves that big. When I first saw the bags I groaned with disappointment and said, "No way in this world will these bags be big enough" but I was wrong and am already using one. They open up to be much larger than you would think. I waited until my loaf was stone cold before I sliced it into 14 slices and then put in the bag. I sealed it with an Ikea clip and stored the loaf in my fridge. I don't care what the so called experts say, if you want to make your loaf last, keep it in the fridge not on your counter where it will sweat and cause mildew to grow very quickly but the loaf must be absolutely stone cold before you put it in the bag, that's an absolute MUST DO if you want to store successfully. Because they are re-useable, I estimate this one pack of bags will last me a long time but like someone else said in their review, these bags can be used for all sorts of other things too. Totally recommend this item and when the pack does run out I'll definitely be buying some more.
