Inc. Waco YMF5 DUM1807 Wooden Kits Airplane

This is a very well thought out, a great attention to detail, a lot of extra's you don't normally find in an inexpensive kit. This will take time to put together, it's a labor of love, this one is slated for my hanger and will always be there. You guys did a very good job! I am going to look at your other lines for future builds. I normally scratch build, but with everything you set up, I am happy to take a diversion and get to enjoy building and revising to suit my needs. Put in your recommended brush-less, lipo and battery pack in these current times would make a world of good. I am doing a build log at RC Groups soon enough to help the builders and pilots. I am sharing in the photo's the contents of the kit you will receive, there are many really cool, much more simple planes for new builders and pilots to choose from, this is not one of them.

This is my first balsa plane build since I was a child 45 years ago. I chose this model because I like bi-planes and wanted a challenge. The instructions are pretty good but assume I have experience. There is plenty of info on the internet to fill in the gaps. Laser cut parts are clean and accurate. This is a complete kit minus engine and electrical components

So i have never heard of Dumas models before. I have always built models from Gillows, Balsa USA, and other companies, including a lot of scratch built models. I did not really have high expectations, but this has got to be one of the nicest kits ive seen in a long time. Very organized, all the wood is straight, light weight, and the laser cuts are very precise. The build manual is written well, and the plans are extremely easy to follow! Not really a kit ment for beginners, however im sure if you have any building skills, you would do fine building this model. I will definitely be buying the other Dumas RC model airplanes to add to my collection.

This is a beautiful kit. Very well laid out with good instructions. Purchasers should realize that’s this is a KIT. You open the box and find a pile of balsa parts and a set of plans. There is nothing resembling an airplane when you open the box!

Its hard to shape the wood

Not worth anywhere near $70. Very surprised anyone would sell the kit like that.

beautiful plane, moderately difficult to build but good instructions, my only complaint might be the soft balsa wood, I break the longerons every time I handle the fuse, I had to make my own 1/16 longerons out of harder balsa otherwise a fun plane to build, bad for wife relations tho. eg
