LEED v4 BD&C EXAM GUIDE: A Must-Have for the LEED AP BD+C Exam: Study Materials, Sample Questions, Green Building Design and Construction, LEED ... and Sustainability (LEED Exam Guide Series)

I just passed the LEED AP v4 BD&C exam and this was pretty much the only study material I used. I never studied the actual reference manual at all...just this book. That being said, you definitely need to know EVERYTHING in here though. After feeling I had a solid grasp on the material, I took the exam and passed with a 176...so it was CLOSE!!! Definitely a solid place to start...but it is up to you if you require additional materials.

Studied off this book for 2 months. Passed the exam today. This book is really all you need. Don't get discouraged by all the "memorizing" he tells you to do. I didn't spend much time trying to memorize the information, just read the book at least 3 times.If you're going to buy practice exams, use a website like gbes. I bought the mock exam book, but the questions were not that close to the actual exam.

Well what can I say, I passed a couple of hours ago. Not by a lot, but just enough to pass. Though the author makes this claim right off the bat that you will not get 100%. I used this book and the associated practice exam. In addition to all the recommended documents LEED website had suggested.Just do what the man says and you will barely pass like I did.

Bought this book and also the LEED GA Book and the LEED BD+C Mock Exam Book. I am not sure if I'm supposed to get the LEED GA Book since it wasn't really mentioned in this book other than to study using this and the USGBC Reference Guide... Does anybody know if we need to get the GA Book? I was trying to find the Q&A Section but there doesn't seem to be one for this product....Nor was there a Q&A Section in the LEED GA Product Page.BUT.From how far I've gone in this book, it seems very straight forward, I still need to complete reading this book a couple more times but so far so good. Mnemonics aren't really helpful to me but they are given to help those that could use them.

I actually bought this as a better way to study than a $250 online guide. The included study tips are very helpful. It's organized similarly to the USGBC credit library but with explanations, broken down mnemonics and organized codes and standards, I've already taken the Green Associate exam and the practice exam in the back of the book is very accurate

I was fairly disappointed with this Exam Guide. I bought it because of the good reviews and the promise to pass the LEED exam quickly. It is too boring to be of use. Sure it's a summary, but this guide actually increased my study time since it encourages pure memorization vs understanding. I would like to return it but it's too late.

It's not the substitute of the reference guide but the reference guide is really detailed to remember. Whereas this book is a good summery of a clear idea about the whole thing.
