Reads 9.02 volts
Does what it says and within tolerance for output voltage. Doesn't seem to get too warm.

Downgrade from 12v to 6v successfully
Tested and the output was 6.2v just as expected. Had to use it to power my rear view camera to reduce overheating.

IT DOESNT WORK!!!
POS!!!!! Does NOT WORK!!! Had a project on my truck for a while now and once I had time to work on it and finish, the last thing to do was connect this to the 12v power and ———NOTHING!!! This thing is garbage!! DO NOT BUY!!!

works just fine – not exactly 9.00 volts but close enoughThe attached photographs are variations in NO LOAD output voltages with various input voltages from 4s to 6s lithium cells. The under load output voltages were much closer to the stated 9 volt DC output voltage ranging 9.3 – 8.9 volts DC. The electronics components I am using do not need a super accurate voltage like the old vacuum tube voltage circuits provided. I always incorporate fast fuses so I don’t have to rely on the claimed “over current” protection. I am staying way below the 3 amp 9 volt = 27 watt rating.

Works good.
The media could not be loaded. Used this buck converter to step down 12v to 3.3v for a garage door remote that I installed in my motorcycle. That way the garage door remote will only function while the key is present and motorcycle is on.

Quality control appears to be an issue
I bought two of these to supply 9V to a transceiver. One worked correctly and outputs 9V on the dot...the other only outputs 8V.. Not 8.2 or 8.9 or 8.7.. 8V exactly on the dot with the same 13.8V supply I tested the other working unit.The overall physical design seems pretty good but odd to get one that isn't configured correctly to output what the specification says.
