The author devotes a page or two to each tip, stringing this advice out into acceptable book length. The tips are accompanied by diagrams that are occasionally helpful, but usually unnecessarily obvious. They are also accompanied by jokey, encouraging comments such as you find in some of the more basic “For Dummies” books.If you’re just looking for maximum numbers of tips without the chit-chat, you might do better to get a more densely packed “Hacks” book such as Bradford’s. However, in this format, the book makes for a good novelty gift – light in content and sturdy in design.What’s more, there are some genuinely useful ideas here. You’ll learn how you can get creative with unassuming everyday items such as binder clips, clothespins, and pop can pull tabs.

I love this book. Even if I never used a single hack, the humor itself is worth the read. The author is hysterical and many of these hacks are brilliant and ones I'd actually use. It also makes a great gift. I gave copies to family and friends for Christmas. Just something fun and different.

Life Hacks are kind of a fad these days, and so I hate to admit that I love them, but I do. Who can resist finding a simpler, more efficient, or less expensive way to do things? Certainly not me! Anyway, this is a quick read, and I actually found several new hacks that I am going to use, such as using strawberries as a teeth whitener or pineapple juice to stop coughing. They're worth a try, right?

So normally, this is not a book I would get, but I always find some treasures in collections such as this. It had illustrations, so if you weren't quite sure what he was explaining, the pictures help. He has a sense of humor which is pleasant. And, these were dad hacks. Not all pertain to mom's or women, but many helpful. It would make a nice gift for a new dad.

You will be smiling throughout this very quick read as you realize how the items that you have around the house that you always thought had one specific use can now be reused or recycled in ways that are very helpful but you would normally never think of.Definitely worth the investment as you find several ideas that you will put to use right away.

I enjoyed this book. I love hacks and making things simple. Some of them I had already heard of and some were new to me. It is a quick read. They break down the hacks in categories such as bathroom, kitchen, office etc. I received this item at a discount or free in return for my honest review.

Enjoyed. The Author has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend and learn new hacks with a side of humor.

Not many useful ideas in this book. The writer is cutesy in his editorial style which also is a bit of a turnoff. I bought it thinking I'd read it to see if I wanted to get copies for my three sons. definitely not!
