Terrible quality, do not purchase. I am going to try and get a refund. It’s worse than what you find on disposable medical masks.

This product is NOT what is listed. It is NOT braided elastic, or any elastic at that. yes it stretches but so thin that the moment you stretch it , it breaks in half. THIS PRODUCT IS A DISGRACE AND A COMPLETE SCAM. DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY WHAT SO EVER. THEY DESERVE TO BE BANNED FROM AMAZON.

The seller must be substituting a different product than in the previous reviews because of the demand for elastic, because this is complete garbage. It's not actually elastic, it's stretchy string in the same texture and weight as a pair of opaque tights.If you stretch it out once it only springs back about half way and if you tie a knot it unravels. I'm using this for mask ear loops and it's not even good for that. It could never be used for sewing.Additionally, this is supposed to be 200 yards and I received less than 100. I should've been able to make 340 masks and ran out after fewer than 150.

This elastic is flimsier then the narrow Daiso elastic I bought a few months ago... However, it is soft and will work well for face masks. I was worried it would lose it's elasticity, so I did a few tests on it. I stretched a 3" piece to about 5" for 1 hour; it retracted to 3.5". Then I stretched the same piece to 4.75" for 18 hours; it retracted to 3.75".I ordered on April 3 2020 and paid an extra $25 to receive by April 9. Reviewing comments I saw online around April 9, I was worried about when/if I would receive this. It arrived April 17.

I bought this for making masks, since it is advertised as having "heavy elasticity" and durability. However, the elastic is cheap and shoddy, not at all suitable for re-usable and washable masks in heavy rotation. I also would not use this elastic for garment sewing, so in fact I can't imagine what, exactly, it could be good for.The seller was gracious and accepts returns, but in order to receive a refund I have to pay to ship it back to China. WTH, Amazon? So, since that would probably cost more than the elastic did, I won't bother, but the next time I'll do what I should have done in the first place and wait for my local fabric shop to restock.

I rarely write reviews but this elastic was so bad that I felt like I needed to warn people. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I purchased this elastic to make face masks after reading the great reviews. I don't know if they changed the elastic or paid people to write good reviews. It took almost a month for me to receive it but that wasn't even the issue. The elastic is super stretchy and not tightly woven. It's so thin and flimsy that it will easily stretch out of shape. I would barely even classify this stuff as elastic to be honest. The company did offer to let me return it BUT it was shipped from Canada and it was going to cost me $12 and some change to return it and there was no way I was wasting any more money on this junk. I recommend Mandala elastic. I purchases some off of Amazon and it came within a week and was the best elastic I've purchased to date.

This elastic is too flimsy to make anything with it. This is fragile, overly-stretchy junk. It is not suitable for any craft unless you want your finished product to fall apart.Also, this company is out to rip off American buyers. They frequently change prices to see what they can get away with. Beware.

This roll goes a long ways and works well with silicone beads for mask making. It also catches well on the sewing machine because it is a flat elastic
