These stones are nice and keep our drink cold without watering it down, but my boyfriend prefers an ice cub in is drink or the stones. The instructions tell you to only rinse then put in the freezer. What they should say it to hand wash before first use.

Got this for my husband and I was surprised he loves it. He said this is a good idea. His drink will taste the same and not taste like water. We have to buy more because he wanted to give his family for Christmas. These stones are pretty cool and they do exactly what they are supposed to do. The keep my drinks cold without watering then down. They are stones, so I am careful how I drop them in a glass, of course. But swirling the contents of the glass around the stones works well, just don't get too rambunctious about it.The care of the stones is very easy, just rinse them well after using and put them back into their protective back and stick them back into the freezer so they are ready for the next drink! No soaking or even soap after the initial mild soap and water wash when you first open them.I feel very hipster and trendy when I used these! lol *I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.*
