The base that should have been...
...packaged with the DEWALT hand-held router in the first place! I love the router, but it comes with a base that is not very useful, especially when a bushing is needed. This base allows for a bushing to be added for use with a dovetail jig or with templates. I also leave the base on for laminate trimming. In fact, this base has replaced the original altogether.

Fits fine, dimensions given by the seller are incorrect.
The item seems to be fitting/working fine.Confusing the product description, it says dimensions 4.5 x 4.5 x 0.38Are those dimensions given in inches or centimetres? The diameter is neither 4.5in nor 4.5cm.

Works great to keep a consistent spacing when using a juice groove jig. Just be sure to use a centering tool to align the plate on the router.
