So easy and compact - works great too.
What a great little scanner. The computer sees it as an external drive. So, when you turn it on, it connects and opens that "drive" folder and that's where the application to scan is. Just run that - very easy to customize - when your done, turn it off and your computer disconnects. Nothing to install. Scans both sides at once and auto detects color or black and white. Of course, you can override to what you want very easily if you need to. Very compact and easy to take with you - we work from the RV some so it's perfect. Also got the case for it.

Does 2 sided scanning without flipping the paper!! LOVE THIS!
Holy balls, I love this!! Does 2 sided scanning without flipping & re-feeding the paper through. BAM! Simple like it should be!! Just click the button for 2 sides before u scan. Makes it fast & simple! My friend was amazed at the simplicity of it’s duplexing feature when she was helping me. I totally made the right choice. Easy to tote with me, also.

Almost perfect. Troubleshoot for Mac
Small, portable. Easy to use. Perfect for quick scanning. Relatively accurate if you don't overload it too much. Wicked Fast setup. BUT with wire connection issues with Mac adapter. And multi-page scanning doesn't always work as one continuous document. It can fail, I could pick up where I left off if I don't cancel but annoying. This one is lotto ticket. Not a big deal for some but I need that feature to work smoother.MAC TROUBLESHOOTING: I have a macbook air 2019 and yesterday the scanner stopped recognizing the scan utility which is not downloaded onto the computer. Honestly, I really liked that part previous to this because it meant quicker connection and made for light work on my HD space. BUT yesterday flat out stopped recognizing the native driver/ utility program. Said no scanner could be found, which also meant I couldn't update the utility. I couldn't understand what went wrong. On the Canon site there were no fixes listed other than to check the USB is not connected to an adapter. So after reading a review on here it was a firewall. Struck out. Then reading that it was the third party toggle and a known issue, I switched multiple mac adapter combinations around. Nothing worked. It finally dawned on me it was probably the USB end of the wire failing to connect to the female USB to USB-C Mac adapter. Talk about 1st world aggravation over the dumbest and simplest thing ever. To test my theory. Stole my headphone wires that are like 3 years old and that worked but this wire didn't. Go effing figure. It wasn't the adapter at all. I tried all of them again and voila. Worked, no matter what combo I used. So if you have a Mac, Switch the damn wire, not the adapter. Problem Solved, for now. Hope it doesn't screw up again. No one has time to solve something this simple that should be on the website troubleshooting section!

Easy setup
This scanner is small, lightweight and very easy to set up and install n my laptop. Shipping was very fast as well. The scanned image was clear, no dark spots or color change. Excellent product.

Not recommended for Mac due to software
Scan quality is very good generally. It's not perfect and manages to skew and distort slightly (most apparent if you're trying to match up a scanned document to an invisible text layer from the unsigned original). Automatic document feed is OK but not amazing; with documents that were previously stapled it will often drag multiple sheets through at once. The device is very compact, which is helpful. It's a little annoying, and a sign that this thing is fairly dated, that it uses micro USB instead of USB-C.This software makes this device extremely difficult to use. I don't know if it's a Mac-specific issue, or if it affects Windows as well, but the built-in CaptureOnTouch Lite software is exceptionally finicky, particularly after updating to Sequoia. Often, when you start a scan, it just locks up and doesn't start scanning; your only solution is to force quit the app and relaunch. Sometimes you need to disconnect and reconnect the scanner from your computer entirely. What's worse is there's no third-party or open-source software solution (as far as I've found) for this device. I do not know if an update will ever be coming either. The current version of 3.5.23.1120.I do not recommend this device if you have a Mac.

Fantarstic !
I'm VERY satisfied with my scanner. Very good quality, easy to install (even if it works with my laptop but not my surface pro which is sad).I love the fact that I can set a scan standard with my own terms, also the Save setting so I have my standards ready to use.The scan goes up to 600 dpi which is more than a lot of models from other brands.I like that it's not a flat scanner, it fits better my art scans because the ligth is more even (flat scan can allow light to come in certain spots. It's super small so when I don't use it, I can easily store it and have my small workspace ready for art again. For this quality, I'm happy with the price, I think it's usefull for my pro needs. The only thing is that if the paper is a little bit to thick, I have to help the scan to "grab" the paper...

Even better than expected.
I had high expectations when I purchased this, and they were blown out of the water! This scanner was so fast and so accurate that I didn’t have any issues from set up to go. My only critique of this would be rather than using a micro USB that they would actually utilize a USB-C.I bought this for travel and it is definitely small enough to pack away in luggage and take with me. Additionally, the double sided feature works perfect as well. I can’t say I had any concerns while using this scanner. I was just scanning forms with red mark ups on them, so I really didn’t get to check the color accuracy, but the red was red and the black was black.
