Q: Can this output 4 separate tracks on its own, saving 1 output track for each microphone input, without using a DAW??

It records up to 5 separate tracks (4 microphone inputs + sound effect track) to the SD card. You can then import those tracks into your editing software using the SD card and edit each track individually. I use Hindenburg Journalist for editing and it is terrific with the Podtrak, even for a beginner like me.

Q: Can i hear my friends talking through my headphones while recording a podcast?

You would be able to monitor each input on the P4 using the 1-4 headphone outputs.

Q: Say you are recording a phone call, do you talk on the phone as normal, both audio sources are recorded direct to memory card?

You talk into your own mic. Think of the phone as a separate mic for your guest. It saves each channel as a separate track on the SD card and you then pull what you need.

Q: I seen on video that there is a iOS/ interface on the menu option and I noticed on my podtrak 4 it doesn’t have that option , can you guys help

My podtrak 4 doesn't have such an option either, but we already made few recordings and even stream to different platforms, just connecting podtrak to iPhone via cable 3.5mm to lightning and switching mode on 3rd channel to phone, and that's all manipulations.
