Appears to be safe and effective
Our five year old Vizsla (shorthaired pointer-type dog) has some minor skin issues, including occasional hot spots on her belly and small patches of seasonal hair loss on her rear. Our vet says the issues aren't life-threatening and gave us a prescription spray. This spray has the same active ingredients in the same concentration as the spray from the vet and works just as well.Hot spots always clear up within a day of being sprayed. The bald spots aren't gone, but it seems to slow down the hair loss and stop the itching, which is all we got with the spray from the vet too.I don't trust just anything for my dogs. I'm one of those crazy people who won't feed my dogs treats or food made outside the US or Canada. We have not had problems using this spray 1-2x a month, so I'm comfortable using it on them and would recommend to others for similar minor skin issues in dogs.

Works
I have a male German Shephard Dog who is a bit prone to yeasty skin, especially in the summer months. I use the Ketohex spray after bathing him and it does work to reduce the yeast and the musty smell that accompanies it. I also give him two capfuls of apple cider vinegar with his morning feed.

must have if you foster
A must have if you foster. It is easy to apply - I spray onto a cotton swab and then apply it to the kitten/cat. The spray would freak them out, so it is better to not spray them directly. The active ingredients are great for ringworm and an antiseptic for any cuts, scratches on cats.

Works really well
AMAZING. Adopted a stray kitty before winter. Luckily she was in good health except for her skin being a disaster. She had a couple raw wet spots that were clearly causing her pain. This spray cleared it up after a month. If she had let me spray it consistently, it probably would have taken around a week. It has a pleasant smell, and other than the sound of the sprayer, had no adverse effects on the cat.

suggested by my vet
This spray was something I found on Amazon and then later my vet also suggested I purchase. I purchased for my dog that has skin allergies and my other dog that had a urinary tract infection. Both have had problems with a bacterial infection from outdoors. Now e use this spray on wipes to clean them when they come in from outdoors. It works wonders. They also make the shampoo.

my pup chews her paws raw. Vet says is an allergy. Soaks, wipes, pills, antibiotics, shots, $$$$$!!!!!! I tried this line shampoo and liked it and use it nightly on her paws (watered down a lot). So I got this spray for fungus and itch. It is great. No chewing from day one. Nice spray. Light pleasant smell. Looking forward to eventually stopping her meds. Cancelled order refill of expensive anti-fungal wipes. (been 3 days and paws healing beautifully)

Great product
I use the shampoo as well. I have a puppy mill rescue dog with zinc deficiency, her skin is a mess. Its been two years now, I think the damage to her skin by malnutrition is permanent and it has left her highly prone to skin infections. I use this spray between shampoos to help keep her skin healthy. Works great!

Controls itching
Got the first can from my veterinarian, for my pups chronic itching. It worked wonders, stopping the itch, and healing raw spots, allowing the hair to grow back. They also have it in a shampoo, which I have ordered, but have yet to use.
