Universal Pin Removal/Remover Tool Kit PC PSU Modding Tool Kit

I admit I was a little deterred from these based on the reviews but for the price I figured I'd give them a try. These are actually quite good. I don't know how the other reviewers are using them but they do work well. A little advice that helped me when using these tools is to push up on the wire while pushing down on the tool and that should make removing the pins easier.

If it were possible I would give this even less than 1 star. The packaging is practically non-existant, at least something to hold the tools together would have been nice. I bought this primarily because I wanted to sleeve my PSU cables and everything I read pointed to this tool being at least somewhat useful even though I would mainly be using only 1 tool out of the kit, the ATX PSU Pin removal part. This specific tool (which Im guessing most people would buy the kit for) is insanely flimsy. It is very cheaply made, didnt actually even allow me to remove pins (tried it on PCI 6 & 8 pins, 20+4 pins as well as 8 pin CPU). After trying multiple times it broke inside one of the plug receptacles but in the process also slipped and gave me several nice cuts on the palm of my hand as the actual prongs broke clean off instead of bending. I found actual success using staples and a paper clip hammered flat. Save your money, or possibly try one of the other versions of this product that are hopefully built in a much higher quality fashion.

Does what you need it to but cheap quality. Is not strong enough for stubborn pins and will ultimately break and be rendered useless if you have too many stubborn pins you need to remove.
