Seems sturdy, 6" vs 7"
Really 6" vs 7" Appears they include the thick black (Has no use) outside rim in their measurements. Also, as it is only 6" of useable strainer it means the strainer doesn't have as much capacity as a true 7" one does. Rice grains also got trapped under the inside rim due to design. I had to return mine. Did seem sturdy, so might be okay depending on what you are using it for (ex flour), but I'm not sure
