Illustrated Guide to Sewing: Garment Construction: A Complete Course on Making Clothing for Fit and Fashion

Got this today and went thru it, was a waste of my money. Did not really cover things very well and also the pictures in the book look like hand drawings. Save your money there are better books out there on this subject

This book has it all.If your looking for a book that explains all from how to work with patterns, how to assemble and how to construct shirts, dresses, pants for men and women.There is also a section about what seams where to use best, the use of darts, pleats, zippers, waistbands, sleeves, collars. You name it, any info is there.The most complete book I have in my sewing library (and i have a lot).If you know all what's in this book you can take it 1 step further to couture sewing without any problem.

Love this book. Bought it as a helper, have been quilting, would like to sharpen my dormant apparel sewing skills!

For me it's not complete course.i was expecting more detail on every subject with more pics. I already know most of the things in it. It's not telling you how to make a pattern and how to draft the clothes that is more important .

Excellent book.
