I moved to a new place with pretty hard water (gives that squeaky clean feeling as the particles in the water cause friction) that's super chlorinated as well. My acne was breaking out for about 3 months... It was the worst condition that my skin has ever been in... and I couldn't figure out why. Finally, I realized it must've been the water. So I searched Amazon for a water filter and found this gem. It's affordable. And very easy to install, it came with instructions and even plumber's tape to help keep things secured. You just follow the guide and screw the parts onto your shower faucet. It hasn't affected the water pressure much in my opinion. Water still flows pretty steadily. I've had it installed for a bit over a month and gosh, my acne has improved so much. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the worst acne that I had before getting this, I'm probably at a 4.5 now. All within 1 month. Amazing. I will keep continuing to get replacement filters. No complaints at all. Thanks Aqua Bliss! (:

My area has a serious hard water problem that tends to dry out my skin. Since installing this (installation was quick and easy)—I’ve noticed a huge difference. The water feels noticeably softer on my skin during showers, unlike the usual harshness I’m used to. Even the smell is cleaner; there’s no metallic odor anymore. Overall, it’s improved the quality of my showers and made for a much better start to the day.

I do love this easy to in stall shower water filtration. It can be installed within minutes and will make a huge difference in the way your water feels and makes your skin feel. The filter isn't huge, and doesn't look bad installed. I have them installed in all of my shower heads. The inner filter does have to be replaced every 2-3 months, but imo it is worth it. One drawback is that you must take it apart to replace the inner filter. After several changes, I have had to replace the whole thing because of leaks. I do have hard water, so the sediment may be the issue. It is something to keep in mind. Overall, I believe its function makes it a valuable item in your home.

Works really well, easy installation and key thing it works. Bought for my parents, they claimed after shower their heads always still itched. After installation and use that stopped right away.

I've been looking for a shower filter for a long time and landed on this filter (the brushed nickel one, specifically) from my own research and a recommendation from Layne Kilpatrick (@hormorespecialist on Instagram). It was very easy to install (I have no prior skills, I simply followed the instructions provided) and it came with all the necessary tools. I've used it for about two weeks and there is no noticeable change in water pressure or leaking/dripping. My shower water would sometimes have a chlorine smell to it and that is gone now.I get eczema flare ups between my fingers and wanted this filter to see if it would help clear up anything. The eczema is definitely clearing up after a two month flare up. I haven't changed anything else (diet, creams, etc.), so it's possible that the filter is helping but I can't say for sure.I have curly hair and read that a shower filter could help with frizziness. I'm not sure that I notice a difference, but I'll update this review if there are any major changes. I need to use it more to say one way or the other.Even if the filter didn't cure my eczema or frizzy hair, I would still give a 5-star review. I attended a lecture on municipal water in 2018 and the lack or regulation scared me into doing major research about the water I consume (got a Reverse Osmosis filter and only use glass or stainless steel water bottles). Now I've landed on this shower filter to address the water I bathe in. The biggest thing I took away from that lecture was that nobody upstream cares what's in our water, so if you don't have a filter your body becomes the filter.

Easy install but not sure the product works for California hard water. Will keep using and see if I want to buy another one for the other shower.

Lasted 2 years. Works pretty well. We have very heavy minerals here. This really helped in our shower.
