Pleasantly Surprised by Quality and Love the Safer Plastic!
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of these plates. They are great quality and should hold up to many years of washing and eating. The size surprised me too as they were larger than I thought they would be. They are not dinky toddler plates but a real dinner size plate that should last your child to whatever point they are ready for a real, breakable plate. The price was steep so I was hesitant to buy but now I realize that the quality justifies the cost and am happy I took the risk. The best part is that the plates are BPA, PVC, and phthalate free which are the most common and toxic chemicals found in plastic. I don't microwave our food for long periods, but I feel safe warming up a plate of food on this product without fear of toxins leaking into my kids' food. As a bonus, the plates are made of recycled materials and the Green Eats company uses manufacturing methods that help reduce emissions and save energy. All in all a good buy!

Good plates but large enough for adult meal
These plates are great for our toddler. We wash by hand. These plates are full "dinner plate" size. We also have a set of the small "snack plates" for snacks. We rarely fill this plate full of food as it's almost an adult-size. This is our second set. We had 2 yellow plates for about a year and some of our daughter's caregivers must have been cutting up food directly on the plate vs a cutting board...the knife marks were getting kind of deep and yucky-looking. I'd recommend no knife directly on the plates!

I really like the Green Eats tableware items
I really like the Green Eats tableware items. They're easy for little hands to manage, and they can be used even after the kids are big enough for the regular dishes. I've purchased cups, bowls, small plates, large plates, and baby spoons, and I would buy them all again. I started my kids with Green Eats as soon as they started eating solids, and we're all still using them a few years later.Side note: the bowls make for great snack bowls for every member of the household.

Great plates!
I bought these for my daughter when I could no longer fit her meal portions on her first ones. I am very pleased with the purchase. They are a good size (too big to fit on a highchair tray, but fine for use when baby is ready to sit up to the table), they wash easily (we put them right with our dinner plates in the dishwasher), and they hold up well (after several months of use, we have had no stains or warping of any kind). Just follow the product instructions and don't cut on them; they will get damaged that way.

Great Quality and Perfect for a Two Year-Old
I was surprised at the quality and durability of these plates. Others were indicating they were a little large, but they aren't quite the size of normal dinner plates and fit just fine on my son's Boon Flair high chair. As long as you don't microwave them or cut directly on them with too sharp of a knife, they should hold up quite well for a long time!Cleaning is a breeze, too. With a little water, everything seems to slide right off. A quick trip through the dishwasher and they're as good as new.

Green Eats Plates
OVerall we like the plates, but like other reviews we have had problems with them bowing. My husband put the plates in hot water to "reshape" them, but after being in the dishwasher they bowed back. They are a good size for snacks for little kids. Just wished they didn't bow and rock around on the table.

Annoying.
Just reading back through some of the reviews and surprised nobody wrote about the problem I had. Put them through the dishwasher countless times at this point and never had one bow on me but I bought these to replace plates that had cut marks and I was worried about bacteria buildup so bought 3 different color packages of these. First use and put a cut in it. Not sawing through an overcooked steak but slicing up an apple. I can concentrate real hard while cutting on the plate or prep somewhere else and serve on them. Annoying.

Just a great product. I highly recommend these for kids
Just a great product. I highly recommend these for kids. How they were made was important to me. Searched all around for the right plastic. These really hold up well. Ive had for over a year and I see no scratches. Even when they use a table knife. Nice large size too accommodates my 9 year old as well.
