Good for use in poured paintings
This is a great product for poured paint projects. It helps prevent cracking and crazing. It looks milky when wet, but dries clear. Golden's products are always top notch. A little pricey, but worth every penny for archival quality art products that will stand the test of time. This shipment was delayed for a bit, but arrived in perfect condition.

High quality GAC brand, works well for reducing crazing & making DIY fluid acrylics and is transpararent
Although this is a pricey brand, it’s worth the quality. 4 stars only due to the cost of this size (16 oz.) bottle. I used it all fairly quickly for making up “DIY Pouring Medium” to mix with my acrylic paints to make “DIY fluid acrylics” for fluid acrylic painting.The GAC 800 is excellent and is a fully transparent fluid acrylic medium that can be used for various painting techniques.I only used this product as a fluid acrylic pouring medium for acrylic paint pouring.This product is great because it does NOT lighten or significantly alter the color of a acrylic paint it is mixed with and it does not give off any harsh odor.This is definitely a top quality acrylic pouring medium and significantly helps reduce “crazing” aka when acrylic paint dries unevenly and then cracks/splits apart on the canvas during the drying process.The 16 oz. bottle gets used up really fast if you’re making a lot of fluid acrylic art, or only using fairly large canvases. I’ll likely purchase again when I’m ready to make more pieces of art to sell and will buy a larger quantity than 16 oz. to hopefully make it last longer.
