Outdoor Enclosure For Nest Or Yi Video Camera & Dropcam Pro (Multi-Coating lens, Double Glasses & IPX4 Complian Tested)

was hopeful for this product as there are limited options for outdoor mounts for older nest cameras out there. Other models use a swivel mount that often comes lose or moved by animals.This product has issues with build quality (small screws broke when installing), Nest USB cable doesn't fit, Glass reflects IR Lights at night.I'm returning this product and you should avoid purchasing it.

To get to work correctly with yi home camera its alot of work. It's a good enclosure well made .if done right the first time. You don't want to keep opening it up and moving it.

when using with night vision, looks nothing like the product images. as other reviews show, lot of glare on half the camera image, making it pretty pointless.

works great for my yi home 1080, just need to put a litlle bit of paper behind to make it fit securely. It works fine without the irl, my irl wont come on because theres already enough light. it is a little cheaply made but it works.

Have been using it for a week so far and the outdoor enclosure has kept my Yi Home Camera safe from the elements. The fact that you can adjust the angle of the camera is a big deal and allowed me to get the perfect angle for my camera. Also the ability to lock the enclosure for prevent tampering is a plus. The enclosure does include an O-Ring which gives it a tight seal and have had no issues with the camera over heating or not fitting properly.I would advise that the IR light for my camera doesn't work while inside the enclosure as advertised and the light reflects back into the camera rendering the camera useless. I had to turn the IR light off on the camera in order for it to function at night and luckily still get a decent picture. Also be careful with the included screws, they are prone to strip very easily.Overall I would recommend this product and the price for it can't be beat

night vision seems to light up lens and you cant use it at night

I have purchased two different enclosures. This one turned out to be worthless. Whether you are getting this for a Nest or Yi camera, this will not work. The screws are mis-sized and extremely cheap. I had 2 that broke as I was screwing them in. None of the three sized screws fit the pre drilled holes well. I followed instructions to the tee but they would not go in, were too long or broke in two leaving me to drill out the remaining piece. The seals and protection for your expensive camera are also sub-standard. It was easy to see where rain and weather were still going to get in through, holes and crevices. I finally decided to throw the entire ptoduct in the trash even though I found some of my own screws that worked better. Don’t waste your money.

This is the second time we have purchased this outdoor enclosure. Great way to convert the indoor cam to an outdoor cam and stillProtect the camera from the elements. Doesn’t hinder the video quality at all and never fogs up.
