I had about 15 watches all with flat batteries that I needed to replace to sell on ebay, this kit saved a lot of money compared to going to a shop to have it done. Has all the right tools for the job, easy to use and good enough quality for home use.

I have two bog standard watches, the batteries in which give up after around a year (replacements never last as long as the originals). Fortunately they use the same battery type. Getting replacement batteries is easy enough but until now I didn't have suitable clamp and tool for removing the back plate. This set sorts the problem completely and pays for itself after two replacements. Easy to use, robust enough to last and packaged well enough to be reused.Delighted with this product.

Actually better than expected, have gotten alot of use out of some of the tools.The case holder thing unexpectedly works well, the strap pins seem to be decent.Cheap screw driver does the job, case pry is functional but be careful with it.Adjustable case opener does work but is far from ideal, and will leave scratches if no film is used to protect the watch, bear that in mind if new to watch maintenance.Tweezers are very basic and haven't been used so can't comment on them.Spring bar tool is perfect size and appears to be steel, not 100%on that though, but will say its done the job many many times and is by far the most useful piece in this set (if you have many steel strap watches like me).Also included is a basic information leaflet describing the use of these tools.Overall I'd say this cheap set is worth the price and very useful depending on your needs.Adequate for opening watches at home, replacing batteries, adjusting/removing straps and replacing strap pins.A good set if new to watch modification/maintenance, pretty much everything you need. Can't really fault as is what it says.A good basic product.

I bought this to replace the batteries in our watches. It works perfectly. Would definitely recommend. It comes with instructions of how to get the back off differing designs of watches. Extremely pleased with my purchase and will save the family money going forward as we no longer have to pay a fortune to get the batteried changed.

Brilliant little kit. Super easy to use, and makes replacement of batteries so easy. Much cheaper than going to a watch repair person.

Check that you actually need this kit before you buy. Many watch casebacks can be opened with a screwdriver or a knife. Because it was relatively inexpensive I bought this just in case, but I didn’t need it. The kit itself is fine and I didn’t use the case opening tool, although I could have used a screwdriver. It comes with a set of watchband spring bars, which I did find useful later. The kit comes with a case holder, screwed-in case opener tool, snap-in pry tool, tweezers, watch and spring bar tool, sundry screwdriver tips and watchband 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 mm spring bars.it would be nice if this came with a holder, but it’s just in a flimsy cardboard box.There is no tool to help with the most difficult task, the replacement of a snap-in caseback. Because that is such an awkward task one might ask whether it’s worth taking the risk to replace the battery yourself- you can easily destroy the watch glass.

Really useful set for changing watch batteries. Good kit and good value.

The tool for popping off the backs works well (saved me £60 at the jewler). But struggling with the twist tool, which could just be a very stubborn watch I'm trying to open. The watch fits well into the clamp, but would be better if you could attach it to a surface to get better leverage.
