Works quite well for my needs.
I've read the one-star reviews, and while I'm not in their space so I can't argue with them, I do wonder about those who claim this stand will not support a 12" iPad. That's what I have, and it works fine. As for those people who say it's too hard to attach to an iPad 12", perhaps they're trying to make it fit lengthwise. I attach mine from side to side. I place one side into the clamp, and then open the other clamp and slide it on. It works every time with little difficulty. I worked around the problem with the clamp moving when adjusting the position of the iPad by putting clamps on either side to keep it in one place. So far, it's been perfect for my needs. I am a portrait artist, and I often paint from a collection of photos. I have my iPad attached to the back of my easel, and as stated above, I have two clamps on either side of the Greepin clamp to keep it from moving around. I've used it for several months with no trouble. I love that I can enlarge the picture to see greater detail. The stand is quite sturdy, even with the larger iPad Pro. I easily maneuver the iPad into a horizontal or vertical position with no effort at all. And, of course with the iPad, I have my "tunes", my podcasts, lectures, etc. right there with me while I'm painting. I also keep a Bluetooth keyboard handy in case an important email comes in that needs an immediate response.I would offer one caution, however. When tightening the clamp to the table, don't over tighten it. Perhaps that's what happened to some whose clamps broke. Otherwise, I see nothing wrong with this clamp at all.

Plastic screw down clamp and nut that hold the unit together broke after 11 month. Have to buy another hollder.
I got my Geepin stand two days ago so have limited experience with it. So far overall I am enjoying it. I am bedridden and my iPad pro was putting a lot of strain on my left shoulder. The stand has greatly helped in that I only have to hold it with two fingers to stop it from vibrating. Based on other reviews I was expecting the shaking as I make selections on the keyboard or the screen. My major complaint is that I can't swing the holder away from the set up position to get my iPad out of the way when I need to use my oveer-the-bed table. Instead of swiveling I have to unclamp the stand and move it to the adjacent side of the table and reclamp it. I also find it difficult to bend the gooseneck, because it is very rigid. The write-up title says 360 deg rotation, which is misleading because I believe it was referring to being able to rotate the device 360 deg not the table clamp, which is what I was looking for.Have had my GEEPIN holder for three months now. The plastic nut that holds the gooseneck to the holder broke. Thankfully they supply the spare. But now I'm concerned that the spear my break Need to find out how to order more plastic nuts to have hand as spares . The table clamp keeps loosening. So I have to keep tightening it. I'm afraid to put too much pressure on it in tightening it down for fear that I'll break that plastic part also. I agree with many other reviews that the gooseneck is very stiff and difficult to bend the way I want it. But I adapted to itPlastic screw down clamp and nut that hold the unit together broke after 11 month. Have to buy another holder.

I decided to use this method (as I have seen other artists do) I bought a good size tablet
Since I'm an artist and work mainly from my own photos, instead of wasting expensive ink printing out photos, I decided to use this method (as I have seen other artists do) I bought a good size tablet, but of course I needed a holder to put it right where I needed for reference while painting. I viewed several types, but this looked like the most practical. I found I can clamp it onto my work table and twist it in just the right position. It holds the tablet very securely which was a concern I had. The only thing I'm wondering about is the durability of the clamp because it's made of a hard plastic. It that breaks it will render it useless unless just that part can be replaced. Only time will tell about that aspect. Otherwise, I was happy with the delivery time and how it's working for me.

Strong arm!
This works great but man is the arm stiff and hard to move around. It’s a bit mismatched engineering wise because the weakest points are the plastic ball joint attached to the device clamp and then again where the arm attaches to the base the arm easily droops with a really heavy weight because that’s where the fulcrum ends up in most cases. I tried my very old version clunky heavy as heck iPad and the arm and ball joint instantly sunk yet the rest of the arm is ready to hold its place with way more weight. It’s perfect for lighter weight devices like phones and new tablets but man is it like arm wrestling a boa constrictor to move the arm where I need it without ripping the base off my headboard. And also, it’s not a flaw for this specific item, but when using a device holder with this kind of length the device easily begins to bounce and sway when it gets bumped/touched until you steady it. I’d rather have a shorter more stable arm, I’m going to figure out how to wrap this one up in a bit of a coil shape to reduce that bouncing. Otherwise... it’s exactly what I was hoping for and works as advertised.

Terrible!
The gooseneck was hard to bend and manipulate into shape, not very flexible. This was difficult as I had to move it to one side when not using in bed which required twice daily reshaping, also the neck wasn't long enough to spiral around to support an iPad like the description said. It found its way in the bin after a month and was a waste of 80+ dollars!!

Works great, heavy materials, fits my 12.9 iPad Pro.
It works great feels very sturdy, the clamp is stretched to its max limit to fit my iPad Pro 12.9” but it definetly not going to loose its grip. There appears to be a peace of hard tubing that suronds the arm and I have no idea what it’s for. I just let it stay slid down to the base,

Long
The neck is a bit too long to hold upright strongly and bracket could be stronger.
