My 2.5yo is a runner. She found it hilarious to be chased around the truck after school. This was delivered while she was at school so put it on and picked her up and immediately was like we now have a hand, you go to the hand and no running in the parking lot. She likes the fairy's on it and the hand outline. She understood what I meant and goes directly to it unless she's being held. We do not have a running problem now and she still likes the fairies.I drive on the interstate almost daily for about 20ish miles daily at 80mph and throughout town and it has stayed on.

We practice with it a lot, and now she actually won’t get into the car WITHOUT tagging it at least once!I only have one kid, but I could see this being a big help for parents of multiples. This is such a simple and clever safety measure!I especially love that it’s magnetic, so you can easily take it off and put it on your spouses car, grandma’s car, etc. I’ve had it a few months now without anyone stealing it like some reviews have mentioned.

This magnet is perfect! For any child that has ever learned how to high five, it is purely intuition. My child is not quite two-years-old, but, as soon as she saw it on the side of the car, her immediate response was "Oooooh! Five!" and putting her hand on the hand. In less than a day, as soon as she gets out of the car, she immediately puts her hand on the magnet, then grins at me! She absolutely loves it, and I don't have to worry about her running off! She likes trying to match her fingers up to the fingers on the magnet since her hand is almost the exact same size.I purchased the Alphabet design since it was the most gender-neutral one since, from the looks of this item, it's going to last until the next child or two! It looks to be very high-quality! The magnet is strong enough for my kids to not be able to remove, but weak enough that I can.As an added bonus to the magnet, included in the package is a list of safety tips and suggestions for using the magnet and keeping your child safe in a sometimes unsafe environment.I would recommend this for anyone who has young children and drives!Update: Someone stole the magnet today! =[ I'm going to order another one when I'm done traveling since my daughter is so sad about it being gone...

Please be aware that this magnet may melt into your car finish. This happened to us and left pieces of magnet stuck to the car. We like that it served as a reminder for the kids to stay close to the vehicle, but were disapointed when the magent came apart in places. I've had other car magnets for things and never had this issue. Note, it does come off without scratching the vehicle, just some finger nails and soap.

This is amazing product and while I’ve been questioned by my friends like don’t h watch ur kid in the parking lots the answer is yes but she’s three and runs from me and my fiancé from one to the other with this butterfly magnet she knows now hand on butterfly until we get our stuff and lock the car and put the heya away. She loves it and even takes it to her fathers with her on the weekends. She literally takes it off my car and puts it on his and at first he thought it was so dumb too but after using it for two weeks asks to borrow now and ordered his own. This is an amazing product that keeps my kid safe

I went to move this one day and it was stuck. The magnet portion appears to have melted and crumbled and was stuck to my car. Upon removing it I discovered that it has either left a residue or worse, taken the top coat off. I bought it in February and discovered it was stuck around July.

This is my second purchase of these because I love them so much. I first used these a few years ago to keep my antsy kiddo still while I got their sibling out of the car. It gives me a sense of confidence that my child can look at something fun (count the images, name them, say colors, etc) in the 1 extra minute I need to unbuckle my little one. It's strong enough to hold on to my car on the highway and during high winds. I proudly have it on my car for all to see because it keeps my kiddo safe. The only time I forget to grab it is during a car wash. Don't leave it on during a car wash!

Gor this for my 3 year old son to help train him to stay at the car and not run away when I open doors. It's a magnet so you can place it wherever you need it to go and so far has held up to rain and sun. I've been able to get my son to "go give an orange high five" to the magnet when he tries to run ahead to my to the car and he does it! I let him pick out the design and he loved the train one with the orange hand. I love that there were so many colors and designs to choose from. Would definitely recommend this for the kid who doesn't like to stop or run ahead as telling them to go to the hand and give it a high five can direct them and keep them safer.
