Better than expected
It is probably the same or better than my OEM reverse camera. It almost looks like the video from a decent phone in the driving position when the unit is on the dashboard. It's not as bright as a phone under sunlight. You have to get really close to see that it's not digital HD. I use it as a blindspot monitor so it's more than adequate. (The camera is ASIN:B07C7Q2R6D.)I don't think there is much use for the 2nd input unless you have two or more cameras for car use, or you still have a DVD player with NTSC/PAL output. The monitor is designed to look like a big screen TV and there are almost as many settings - brightness, contrast, saturation, language and 16:9 or 4:3 mode.Update: At least 6+ months of daily use. Still great. I turn up the saturation for the vivid color and people ask me if I have an iPhone up there. This is the type of TFT used in Prius. Some cars use IPS that is brighter but the resolutions are similar.

Didn't last long
The 5-inch monitor worked good at first. But only lasted three months.Now it only turns on intermittently. I replaced it with an old 3.5-inch monitor that worked great.

Good digital monitor
This is a good cheap monitor. The screen quality is about the same as a normal car monitor. The settings save when you set them (unlike some other cheap models).
