Cheap
Get what you pay for - the sound effects and light features are cool as long as the plastic parts hold up to light use. Cheap plastic parts are veryy thin. In our case 1 sword arrive not working and the other broke within an hour of light use. My son litteraly tapped it on the floor. Will not purchase again.

Grandson loves these
They are not as noisily obnoxious as the set we bought him for Christmas.

Cheap but works for kids
Kids tear up toys rather quickly and this was cheap. I learned to wrap a rubber band around the battery cover. It does not stay on for long. But the toy still works fine! Makes a 6 & 2 year old happy!

Broke after we opened them
Broke after opening them. One didn’t even work at all. Battery closure broke off on the one that turned on and then the light up piece just fell off. Sad.

Worthless
Batteries do not securely fit into the battery compartment, so they wobble around and don’t make a proper connection.Neither of the two items worked.

Excellent value for excellent effects
The media could not be loaded. The MIWIND Light Up Saber for Kids is an excellent toy. The blade is collapsible like the old-school version when they were first released (back in the day). However, this set has multiple, fantastic light and sound effects that the light sabers of yesteryear did not. It’s very realistic. No instructions accompany the lightsabers but they are so easy to use a child doesn’t need a college degree to figure them out (like some others I recently reviewed). You’ll find detailed instructions in the actual product listing along with information about a 90 day return/exchange policy. The handles are plastic as are the blades. The blades are durable enough to take blows without coming off and falling apart or bending. These MIWIND Lightsabers are incredibly lightweight. They are rated for ages 3 months and up. I think 3 months might be a tad young but I’m certain a 2 year old could manage it.The hilts can be attached together with the small connector (included) that twists into the end of both hilts. The blades are two feet long and the hilts are eight inches long. Each lightsaber takes four each AA batteries that are installed into a compartment in the handle. The compartment has a cover that screws on to stay secure so there’s no fear of the batteries flying out during play.Overall, a great rendition of a lightsaber that will delight the kids as well as the grown ups. The sound and lighting effects are very similar to those of the more expensive lightsabers. You can set them to one of 7 different colors, or set them to rapidly flash through all the colors. They make sounds when struck against something or even just slashing through the air! At just $19.98 for the pair (price at the time I ordered), you get a nice quality product at a very cheap price.
