This is a well made lumbar support. Fits perfectly in the seat. It is just a little to dense but hoping over time it softens.

This is a great lumbar support, but it’s not for everyone. There are multiple versions of the McKenzie roll. This is the super roll which is very firm. This roll and the “firm” original is for tall or heavy people. There is also a trip to tear the inner sanitary plastic wrap that allows the other people rolls to compress further.A reviewer mention it was not large enough to extend to the bucks. The purpose for the roll is not to provide cushion and comfort. It is to restore and support the natural curve of the spine to prevent and reduce mechanical pain symptoms.I advise my patients get the original “standard firmness”

My daughter is a physical therapist, and the McKenzie method is taught in physical therapy school. This back support was designed by the physical therapist McKenzie.After using the support in my office chair and in the car with leather seats on a long road trip, I had to discontinue use. Instead of alleviating back pain, it made my pain worse. The firmness is much too hard (and I think there is an even firmer version). The strap does not help keep the cushion in place really. You still have to constantly adjust the cushion if you move to make sure it is placed in the proper area of your back. My mother has different back issues than I do, so I gave the support to her to try. Since she is older, her skin is thinner with little fat underneath, and the cushion left a red imprint on her back.I am not sure the shape is a good fit for most backs either. The biggest problem is that the cushion is much too firm/hard.

I received this "premium" product on March 5 and in less than 2 months the stitches on the strap are coming apart. I did not want to leave an unfavorable review before giving the seller an opportunity to remedy the situation, but Amazon is making it impossible to reach them. They say if it's damaged, I have to talk to Amazon, and all I get is a page saying "We're currently experiencing longer than normal wait times...."Automation that only solves canned problems is disappointing.
