Pros: Works as advertised.Has selectable on/off options for most controlsCons: Controls are not as large as the $400 model. But, they work just as well.Unit doesn't "Look" as nice as the $400 competitor model--- but, it works just as well, IMHOConclusion. If I need a third unit, I'm buying this cheaper one again and save $350. If looks and brand name are your thing, buy the $400 unit.

I put this controller on my Panasonic UX 180 camera rig. I'm impressed. It controls focus, zoom and record perfectly. The quality is superb.

I bought this for an older Panasonic camcorder to use in our new studio. It's really well made with an all metal case and knobs.Having the buttons to turn off the auto Focus and Iris are really helpful.The separate knobs make manual adjustments simple.I'm hoping that they make a SONY LANC with the same type of setup.The only issue I had with this unit is that the plastic thumb zoom rocker was crooked, probably came out of the machine too hot and was so slight nobody noticed.I was not something that I could fix as I didn't want to try to heat and bend it or pull it off in case it was glued on so I just exchanged it.I was just worried it might hit the body.All in all this is a great unit and I will purchase these as I get new cameras and replace my older LIBEC plastic LANC remotes with these.Maybe they will make a universal unit like this with a Panasonic/Sony switch on them.Thanks for Reading.

I own a couple different zoom controllers for tripods and this one is my favorite. Now, it isn't gonna compare to your pro-grade zoom and focus handles, but it does do a nice job when you are running an ENG camera off a tripod and want a smooth zoom. Feels strong and sturdy and the zoom control springs nicely with some tension. If I need another zoom control for my setup, this will be the one I buy again.

Does not work

Worked great with my Panasonic AG-HMC80. The first shipment had a defective zoom, but they quickly sent a replacement - in time for my event. I will order a second one soon.

when plugged into the camera the zoom just automatically zooms in and stays zoomed in other functions work correctly how do I go about returning it for a refund
