Keeps my Xbox cool the entire play session
I recently moved into a new house, and the only place my Series X could go was inside the entertainment center. I (obviously) keep the door open while playing, but this fan keeps my Series X completely cool during my entire play session. I love the light bar. I have it set to green to go with the Xbox colors. I also love that the fan has variable speeds. I run it on the highest speed, so I can hear it, but it’s such a low hum, it’s actually a soothing sound. If you need your Series X to go in a tight space or a more enclosed space, this fan is a great item for the money you’re paying.

Simple and effective
I love the simple design which is also aesthetically pleasing to the eye in an architectural way. The lights are a nice added touch. It also has USB inputs which make up for the one the unit needs for power on the back of the Xbox. So you don't lose anything there unless you need the inputs on the back of the Xbox for a mouse and keyboard which is nice to have sometimes. Functionality-wise, with 3 different speeds to choose from effectively drawing heat away from your Xbox. The very top can also be removed leaving only the fan to draw out max heat which they recommend while playing long drawn out games. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the lack of instructions. You see several items are included with the unit such as screens, rubber plugs & something else that I can't remember. They never mention what to do with those items. The rubber plugs I can figure out where they need to go but did they expect the screens to go. Do they stick under the fan unit or do you stick them to the top of the x-box? There are some other vents on the back of the X-box I ended up sticking some there thinking it would limit the amount of dust getting inside from the bottom. But I have no idea where they intended for them to go I just made an uneducated guess.

Loving it
This has likely saved me from future problems. Dust getting into machines is half the reason they wear down so fast. With the screens on the back and the lid over the top, no dust has gotten in. I do wipe down the screens weekly, and it's horrifying how much dust collects. The parts fit perfectly. The screens cover the bits they're for with some excess but not a lot. The top of it is easy to remove and place, no issues there. The fan is a dream, and I'm really confused about why a fan wasn't installed in the console to begin with. It gets hot in there! The heat is now removed because of this nifty thing. I hate the lights though, but that's due to my seizures and sensitive to light. I just tap the adjuster a few times to remove the light. The USB connectors stopped working for some reason. I have to use a child size controller due to hEDS and the small size of my hands. These come with a cord that require it be plugged into the device. Thankfully, the console has a USB connector, but I was hoping to keep using the extras.I think it's worth the money. It's exactly what's need. Just make sure you take off the lid so the heat can blow out, and replace it after use.

Not worth $35
-Cons1. Not a fan that the power source is reliant of the Xbox. This means the Xbox needs to work harder to power the fan and lights. So, with that being said, the Xbox will generally generate more internal heat.2. The fan is not super quiet. The highest setting is quite loud to be honest and the lowest setting doesn’t seem to extract much internal heat. If you game with headphones this would not be an issue.3. The fan needs to be manually turned off. The fan does not power off when the Xbox is off.4. I would not recommend leaving the dust cover on while the Xbox is being used. It just seems to push the heat that’s being pulled out back downwards towards the Xbox. The dust cover should only be on while the Xbox and fan are completely off.5. For a price of $35, you would at least expect a remote control to come with it to power the fan and lights. For $35 it’s overpriced having to manually control these settings.Pros-1. It does seem to keep the Xbox internal temperature down. However, this is while the fan is on the highest setting and this is only while the dust cover is OFF.2. The dust covers all seem like they will do a good job keeping hair and dust out. Also the outlet plugs are perfect fits that should also do a good job keeping dust out.3. Lights are ok.
