Excellent for English Bulldog skin issues.
I have an English Bulldog who occasionally has issues with tiny bald spots in her coat. Our Veterinarian said these are yeast spots on her skin, and recommended VetraSeb CK shampoo. I purchased this the first time from my vet, and have used this shampoo on my bulldog every week to two weeks for the last two years, and it keeps her coat shiny and no issues with yeast. I recently ran out of this shampoo, so I used a regular gentle formula shampoo that I've used on our other dog, but the yeast spots returned. Once I got the VetraSeb CK again, I shampooed her coat, and the spots filled in. I plan to keep a spare bottle on hand so I don't run out again.

DOG with ITCHY or skin probs? READ MY REVIEW...
I have a purebred American cocker spaniel. I noticed that he was having some skin issues, was scratching and biting himself so I took him to the vet. After skin cultures and a GAZILLION dollars later.. he has sensitive skin and is allergic to something. The vet had suggested this shampoo (well not actually shampoo..but read on) by A different name and brand. It was $50-ish however it did help. I noticed there was no generic but after doing research I found the same exact ingredients in only one other pet shampoo with 50% off other bottle. SAME SIZE AND INGREDIENTS it’s VetraSeb CK. I must warn you that this is not actually shampoo per se. Shampoo will remove all of his natural oils and strip the good oils out and make his skin even more dry than before. The bottle says shampoo but it does not lather like shampoo the only problem is you need to use A decent amount and ADD WATER to get a lather! Because it’s not shampoo it takes more amount than normal and you must add a little water to get that lather and bubbles going. FYI read the directions you must leave it on MINIMUM 5 minutes (I do 10) but..if not, it’s a waste. I barely see my dog scratch or feel uncomfortable from his itchy skin. You can honestly see a difference after the first use. Also after research if weather is nice do not blow dry your dog let him air dry, the heat from the blow dryer may also add to skin sensitivity & issues. So weather permitting let him dry naturally. I’m sorry this is so long but I’ve done hundreds of hours of research and I’m only passing along what I have learned. I hope this helps. I honestly do swear by this product and have not had a skin culture on my dog for the past several years. No lie! Good luck

Works as intended
I found a puppy that had severe skin issues, and my vet recommended I buy this shampoo from Amazon because it is cheaper than buying from them. I could se a noticeable difference in the skin after only one use. This out to rest the fear that this was a counterfeit product.

TOTALLY THE BEST STUFF EVER!!!
Nothing worked for my GSD's skin issues till my vet sold me the same product they make in the foam for skin infections. I then came to Amazon and bought the shampoo. Nothing has ever totally cured her skin till using both of their products. I just ordered the medicated pads as well. Wonderful aroma, and she needs no conditioner after using the shampoo. Glad this is on Amazon too! I was only guessing what worked, and my vet knew what to do. All of the products they make are top notch quality as well. Thanks for saving my dog's skin Vet One, as four years of infection was enough!!! Happy pet, happy pet parent!:)

Shampoo for Dogs that have Allergies
This is a great shampoo for dogs with allergies in their coats and paws. Has good lather and is very soothing to their coat. Keep it on for about 5 to 10 minutes and rise with cool water. You will see your dogs coat is much shinner and healthier looking. I shampoo my dog once a week and he is an indoor dog. If I would have ordered this particular brand/size thru the veterinary pharmacy, I would have paid $60. I have also noticed less shredding with this shampoo. I definitely recommend Vetraseb.

Seems to work but the jury’s still out
Got this for my dog but not sure if this is the same product a vet would sell you. The reason I say this is because this product seems more watered down than the one I purchased from my vet.
