15DB Amp for Standard and Wide-band Catv System

It is difficult to find a good CATV signal amplifier to feed a home TV distribution system, especially for two-way signals used by most cable companies today. I searched around and found the Channel Vision was the closest to my specifications and price range. Channel Vision makes a lot of higher end, much more expensive electronics for television signals, so I figured they were a reliable brand. I liked the sealed metal casing and that it has a broader bandwidth than most other home CATV amplifiers that suited my purpose.I needed an amplifier for my home that passed signals in both directions, had about 15 dB gain to handle the 8 target locations, splitters, and cable runs for distributing HD Cable TV signals and two-way signaling with the cable provider. This amplifier serves that purpose just right. As for heat, it is only a little warm to the touch, about the same heat as the two Radio Shack amplifiers I had been using for over 20 years for my home analog cable and antenna distribution systems.I received the amplifier in much less time than anticipated and had it installed in minutes.I would recommend this Wide-band CATV System amplifier to my friends, relatives, and others.

I have two of these units. The first one I got has never had a single issue. The second unit I received had a major issue with the power supply that caused the amplifier to stop working. I contacted the seller and they were quick to send me out a new unit that has worked like a charm since.I would recommend almost any product from Channel Vision.
