Dap 12345 3" Wall Repair Patch Kit With DryDex Spackling

My daughter put a hole in the wall and this product patched it right up. The hole was the size of a baseball. The only thing about it, the pace was pink and I expected it to be white so I had to get some paint to paint over it. But other than the product was great. would definitely use it again.

I really like this product. I have have use other similar items but this one works the best. Goes on pink and turns white when it completely dries. Kit comes with everything you need for great results.

I was very disappointed since I was expecting an adhesive repair patch as shown in the diy videos. The patch had to be spackled on with the drydex spackle, having the spackle on the top and bottom, made the patch thick and could not be sanded down enough to even the flat surface of the wall. So a bit noticeable, especially since I had to add more spackle for the knockdown texture.

I used this on hole next to my front door, my mistake. I wouldn't suggest this in a spot you cared about. Maybe good for holes in closets, low traffic areas, etc. Mine was partially covered with alarm keypad so I got away with it. LOL.

I have used dap before but not this one, very easy to use and I like the color changing to tell me when ready to sand.
