Alfred DunnerWomen's Missy Denim Proportioned Short Pant

Finally found comfortable pants that are not too tight. Only downside and maybe that has nothing to do with the manufacturer, but they are too baggy in the thighs and rear end.

Purchased a pair for my mother that recently had a hip fracture. Zip on pants were no longer an option for her, but she loved jeans. These were perfect. Material was softer than what I found in stores and they have pockets which was a must have for her. She loved these so much that I ended up purchasing 3 pairs for her. She is 5'5 and the length was perfect too.

Fortunately, I realized from other online shopping sites and from my own experience with the brand that these are regular-length pants designed to fit shorter, but not petite, women. You'd never know that from the totally misleading photo that goes with the pants on the Amazon website. Alfred Dunner pants are deservedly popular with women for the simple reason that most styles in this brand come in different lengths--short, average, and tall--which means that alterations are not necessary for most women. It's too bad this fact has been lost on the Amazon website with a photo that makes them looked cropped. As far as the pants themselves, they are a lightweight denim-look fabric, nothing special, and the fit is only okay. You'd never mistake them for jeans. Still, they are comfortable and easy-care, which is why I gave them four stars. They're overpriced for what they are, but since Alfred Dunner's "short" is 27", the pants didn't need to be shortened for my 27" inseam length. I'm still ahead of the game because I could wear them the day they arrived without having to chop off a chunk of extra length and then hem them, the usual drill for pants that come in a standard one-length-fits-all 31" or 32". I have several pairs of Alfred Dunner pants in the short length, and they fit perfectly from Day One. I wish more manufacturers would offer different lengths in regular sizes, not just a "petite" option. Until they do, Alfred Dunner is my brand of choice to wear right off the rack.

My mother lives Alfred Dunner and it was so nice to be able to get her two pair of pants that fit her well, very comfortable, and definitely in time for Christmas!

It’s difficult to find Alfred Dunner denim pants, purchased for mother-in-law, she loves them. Good quality denim, nice slash pockets, easy on and off with elastic waste band. So happy found that I can purchase from Amazon. Order size 14 short.

I am quite short in the legs and after I had a local seamstress adjust them, I find they are very comfortable to wear.
