Same as my Physical Therapist uses
This putty kit has a range of firmness to help you strengthen your fingers. I had a finger amputated and theses have helped me regain the grip strength I had lost. The red has a strong odor but not the other colors. The green and yellow have been the most useful to me.

This Is What Hand Therapists Use
The 3 softest ones are too weak for me. I use the blue, green, and black.

Only Yellow & Tan work for Regular Busy Hands
Only the two softest of these putties are malleable enough to be used to keep nervous hands calm. The rest are all much too resistant and are probably best for serious hand therapy. I bought the whole set not being sure. If you want it for thinking time or in place of a "spinner," get xx-soft/tan or x-soft/yellow.

Great for kiddos
My kiddos use these for when they need to. Only downfall is when it comes in contact with something it’s not supposed to.
