Garrett Mild Steel Sand Scoop

Ok, What did i recieve?1x Garrett Sand scoopVery well packaged and arrived fairly quick.Whats it Like?Its not bad at all, but this depends on where you are using it. Where i live most of the beaches are wet hard packed sand full of stones and this makes it rather difficult to sift through the flak and casually retrieve my item as you may have seen people do on youtube with ease. However on the dry soft sand this thing is a real time saver, I can detect where the target is, Take a calculated scoop and then shake the scooper until i hear the sweet rattle of what is usually a ring pull.... I bought a towing rope from the garage and attatch this to the flat part which supports the handle onto my back pack so i can just clip and unclip quickly and do not need to worry about carrying it around. It is of a very solid construction and i doubt anything will fall apart after years of use. It does seem a little expensive for what it is but it is a nice option compared to forking out £150-£200 on one of the long handle sand scoops you see for sale elsewhere, Although i imagine they are amazing.A good item for any beach hunter. 4 stars
