What ingredient costs so much to charge over $200 for one bottle,  with only 45 servings? That comes out to around $4.50 per serving.

Thank you for your question! We get this inquiry a lot and believe us, we wish there was another and less expensive way to maintain the quality and the potency of these living enzymes. The dosage is actually 3 months at 4/day which comes out to $2.25 a serving, but who is counting? It is still expensive. These enzymes come from a premier source and have been processed in such a way to have a higher fat content that is essential for optimum effectiveness, which we found is no easy task and cannot be cheaply done. Fat contains its own enzymes and hormones that when released have a regulatory effect upon metabolism, especially in the regulation of sugars and fatty acids. And since, this is a pancreatic support product and the pancreas is crucial to sugar handling, we wanted to make sure our product had a higher fat content. Leaving in the naturally occurring fat in the pancreas (which is a very fatty organ to begin with) may provide synergistic factors to assist the proteolytic enzymes in their fight against malignant cells. Then we have another very unique factor that most enzyme supplement manufactures do not understand which has proven to be quite expensive to fully realize. If enzymes are fully activated while packaging the supplement they will auto-digest while in the bottle and will be useless to you. Making sure that the majority of the enzyme material present in the capsule is in an inactivated form, was crucial in making our product more effective, as the inactivated precursor form remains dormant until it hits the alkaline environment of the small intestine, ensuring the vitality and potency of the product until it is consumed. Most enzymes on the market are very cheaply done, ignoring the finer points we have just mentioned. They also they have far less fat content, with a commensurate loss of effectiveness. And lastly, there are many other enzyme products of less potency that are a one month supply for approximately $70, which works out to be similar in cost. We package our Longlife Energy Enzymes in a 3 month supply because our clinical experience with our patients has shown it takes about 3 months for most digestive problems to be corrected through nutrition. This product was not designed last month, but has been under a serious testing regimen for almost two years in a clinical setting in our office. We do humbly acknowledge that we are standing on the shoulders of giants, who discovered over 130 years ago, the very proteolytic enzymes we use in this product. This is the same enzyme formula that had such marvelous effectiveness in the treatment of pancreatic problems and other issues involving cellular mutations. But please realize with this level of effectiveness, changes are usually immediately apparent. Some of which can be a little uncomfortable when detoxing and digesting old crusted fecal matter in the colon. Some people experience short term gas initially. It passes quickly, no pun intended, but is a testament to its strength and immediate effectiveness, and we would rather put up with questions of excessive cost than lower the healing powers of this product. So yes, we realize this product is expensive but it is far less expensive than the problems that can arise from continued digestive imbalances and pancreatic problems such as Dr. Jack once had. We made this 100% whole food product for ourselves and decided to share it with the world.
