Get going with your Ants!
I bought this for my 9 year old son; we had seen a similar device at a London museum, but he had opted to purchase something else. When he had the chance to make a present request, this was first on his mind.Having looked at some reviews online, i realised not all Ant boxes are created equal. Some require the gel to be mixed, this one comes ready to go. The box includes the preloaded Gel container, a smaller container and stick for capturing your ant prey, and a decent set of instructions. We now have a dozen or so happy ants, and all three children are fascinated, the parents quite like it too.

Nice little product
Very nice little product and lasts a long time. Follow the instructions and cover with black material for more burrows.

Disappointed
It looks good but somethings wrong?Collected around 8 ants and left in the tank. The ants didnt do any digging down and most have died! We let the few remaining back into the wild when we realised a huge mass of mould had grown on the gel! Our children were quite disappointed. We may have received a faulty product but unsure.

Ant's love the Gel but £17 is a bit too much for it though.
Arrived cracked but still a sealed unit.Ant's started digging within 24hrs.

Great item.
My youngest son (3 years old) has a habit of squashing ants on our driveway, so we bought him the Antquarium, we've had it two months now and the ants are still going strong. The boys get it down every now and then to look at how much the ants have dug. Great item.

Cool ant farm!
I had a gel ant farm when I was younger and wanted to recapture the excitement. This one did not disappoint! It was a challenge collecting the ants, but it was worth it. The ants started building tunnels almost immediately and have now created an intricate network just like the product picture. I highly recommend the Antquarium!
