The primary reason I purchased this was because I recently bought engraved tags and then had a phone number change. I thought this product would allow for me to keep it long term even if my number changes - simply update the website.The secondary reason was the notification of a scan. It seems this service relies on the IP address and not GPS for location. My girlfriend and I scanned the tags and it showed up 12 miles away based on geo-it location. I tested by connecting to a VPN in Bogota, Columbia. Yep, my dog was scanned there. So fairly useless and lazy on the part of the provider.That brings up a separate issue. Creating two accounts rather than registering two tags under one account is also lazy programming.Overall, if someone scans they will find my contact information, but the rest of the features are crap because the company doesn’t give a crap to make it right. These aren’t complex solutions.

I ordered this for my wife’s dog. I’ll give a list of pros and cons.PROSuper simple to use.Durable design and fits well on his collar.The website lets you upload pictures and needed information about your pet like meds, sensitivities, etc as well as contact info for the owners.CONSThe website makes you create a new user name for each QR tag. It would be easier to make one family profile for all the fur babies.

Makes me wonder if some of the good reviews are phony. The website is jacked. Cannot get the response email which should include further instructions and a password so that LogIn can be completed and the tag activated. Tried a number of times. Waited 2 hours for the email. Not in Spam folder. Nothing. Website could not even generate a support form email. Threw an error message. So you see, as it is, the tag is worthless. Good idea, but when you offer tech to people, you have to maintain it. At least it was only 10 bucks. But, seemingly, a wasted 10 bucks. Pass this one by, folks.

Not a good way to set up an account to find your pet. All your info will be made public and you have no control over who sees it, making your info private, etc. Very difficult to use and get around inside the program itself. No way to return it either. No one answers the phone.

I believe they are having technical issues with their site, but they responded to my support request and emailed me my password "manually".I got logged in, updated my account information, activated my tag and tested using NFC.I did not get an email alert, but I think that is still due to a technical issue with email.One suggestion though is to provide contact information as an option on the pet settings page. It has some sort of registration number - not sure if that's AKC or what, but a phone number might be helpful. Vet - eh - in my use case - I take my pet to whatever vet is cheapest (no judgements please), so last vet visit and phone number might not get me my pet any faster - people are more likely to call me direct than a vet - and does the vet really have time to merry up a lost pet with its owner when I could be called direct?I did put my phone number in the registration field - folks will see its my phone, but we should have the option of a phone number in the pet info.Also - there could be a tweak made to the connection system - as the current configuration makes the tag hang perpendicular to the animal's skin. I had to add an additional split ring to make it comfortable for my pet.This would be a solid 5 stars if a few tweaks were made. (I am a firm believer that reviews are for the consumer AS WELL AS the vendor so they can improve on their products)

The overall quality of this product seems to be pretty good. I went to register my dog and it said I already had an account. Then I remembered years ago I registered one of my other animals but was not able to log back in even when hitting reset password I would never get a verification email. Because of this I decided to set up a new account for my new animal. I tried under two different emails neither of which did I ever get a verification so I tried a third email oh, that one did come through via the spam folder. The website is very painstaking slow but I was able to set up an account for my new puppy. I then went to add a second animal and it's telling me I have to come up with a new username but to utilize the same email. When setting up this recent puppy all of the usernames I tried to use said they already existed so I have to use an obscure one now it's asking me to make another one for a second animal and I still have a third animal I want to add which will require a 3rd user name as well for a third tag I purchased. At this point I have simply given up it's not worth the effort and unfortunately for myself a total waste of money. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's simply their process but my neighbor has a different type of QR code dog tag which she scanned and basically it set itself up for the most part and she has six dogs all of which are on a single account with the single username etc.

Easy to set up online. My dog got loose but the person finding her had no clue how to use it. Fortunately she ran up to a neighbor and jumped into his lap. He knew I sometimes fostered dogs so he checked with me. As far as I’m concerned get a tag that prints you phone number or other information. Somehow when I bought it I thought I could use it as a locator so that I could drive to wherever she was, wrong.

This is the 2nd tag I’ve bought from them. The tags are cute & work great. One of my dogs got out and was found. The man scanned tag and contacted us.I had a little problem getting the 2nd tag set-up but the customer support helped get it fixed really fast.I love that I don’t have to get new tags if I move or change address.Highly recommend!!
