This boom is relatively compact and easy to transport. By moving the bracket so it is half way down the main rod and angling the boom at 45 degrees I can get it to hold a Speedlight in an 80cm softbox without any issues. I also like the fact I can screw in my other counterweight into the 1/4" thread which allows me to use an Elinchrom RX4 head.

Better than another boom I have. I'd like to be able to buy additional screw-in weights but can't find out how to do that?

Its a good stand, i bought this to use at home and its fine. Just dont expect too much. It can just hold a canon speedlite with a 55cm beauty dish, and thats with a sandbag on the end and the provided weight. I mainly use it for low level work so its fine for the price.

Und viel größer als ich dachte. Aber genau passend zu meinem Walimex-Blitzstativ.Das Gegengewicht hat am gummierten Ende einen weiteren 1&4-Zoll-Anschluss. Hier habe ich ein kleines Gegengewicht aus dem Astrobereich angeschraubt.Man sollte sich aber im Klaren sein, dass die Hauptachse mit dem Klemmhebel die Last nur trägt, wenn diese auch ausbalanciert ist. Alles andere wäre auch wenig sinnvoll, da sonst das ganze ganze Stativ umkippen kann.Etwas schade ist, dass sich am vorderen Ende nur ein 1/4-Zoll-Gewinde befindet. Dieses kann nicht gelöst und umgedreht werden zu einem 3/8er-Anschluss. Viele andere Stative bieten das an. Aber das sieht man ja auch in der Beschreibung.

Överlag bra byggkvalité men vredet känns en aningen klen för något somska väga 2 kg och fullt utdragen Galgen. Fungerar dock utmärkt som bommicarm. La en order på en till.

I bought this to install on my tripod but I don't recommend it for non- professional users It's really bulky and heavy to use. Maybe there are some smaller alternatives on the market. But I must say, it does what it should do!

Premetto che non l'ho ancora testato realmente ma provato facendo pressioni e leva con le mie mani... dico che è abbastanza robusto e ben fatto. Non conosco prodotti professionali ma mi aspetto un risultato adeguato per supportare un flash tipo torcia/speedlight con ombrellino o pannello LED. Ma non mi stupirei che si possa usare con un flash/illuminatore più pesanti eventualmente aggiungendo un peso "appeso" per migliorare il bilanciamento.

Con un tamaño reducido recogido, sorprende por su buena calidad en materiales. Es robusto, fácil de manejar y llevar. Soporta de sobra el peso de luces/flashes con el contrapeso que lleva. Muy buena opción por su calidad y precio
