My hairdresser suggested a water filter for my shower because of my color treated hair. She said that in some places, the minerals/chemicals in the water tend to alter the color of your hair after treatment. I ordered this and it was 6 weeks before I returned to the salon and she saw a huge improvement with my hair. I have it bleached and it didn't turn brassy at all like it had in the past. Honestly, I see a big difference in my skin as well. Great product and WONDERFUL seller. I would recommend this product to anyone!

This shower water filter is a must buy especially if you have water pressure and hard water issues. My hair, skin, and plants are saying thank you, thank you. This product comes with an extra filter replacement and lasted up to 3-6 month before changing. what are you kidding me? The only problem was the extra filter was damage and amazon assist me with that and Thanks to Amazon. But anywho this is a must buy and will be buying again and just so you know the material is good quality plastic and you must handle with care to avoid damage. After testing the Guruwana High-Quality Multistage Shower Filter it is cracking within the filter housing with rust coloration in the material and some white film? the cartridge did not last with 3-6-12 months and did appreciate the extra cartridge, although the silicon seals broke which cause slow running water.After contacting customer@guruwana.com and expressed even though I would consider continuing to purchase and will be looking to see if there are the same results and suggested better material in making this high-quality product and hope they would stand by their word claiming high-quality, the concept, and warranty of the product with better material. Instead, Guruwana concern was ("We really appreciate your email with your sincere comments. And we are really sorry that it finally did not satisfy you at all because of the material". "I do have one question though". "I really hope you can help me with this". "You said that the filter housing presents cracking, coloration and white film". "Is this in the interior or exterior of it". "If it is in the exterior, could you please send me a picture showing it"?) Guruwana were sent photos and my concerns were inside filter housing and now they are trying to dance around this claiming pictures showing exterior really?They also went on to say "No one had told us that before, neither about the coloration and cracking nor about the broken silicon ring".

Excellent shower filter, no install issues, excellent instructions. The first filter unit has lasted for over a month so far, I suspect it is going to last another month since the water pressure still as strong as the first turn on. Our water doesn't stink anymore which is great because the water is way over treated here in Florida. Moreover, I noticed the shower stall is way way cleaner than before the filter; I haven't needed to clean the stall unlike before the filter where I always had to clean the stall once a week. Now hopefully, they will sell replacement filters as I want the unit to stay forever!

Where I live the water sucks! It is so hard and smells like pool water. I know that what I need is a water softener so it is not so hard, but decided to try this filter that is way cheaper than a water softener, and results were great. I don't know if it has the same water softener effects, but it definitely makes may skin and hair feel very different, since first shower noticed it. Also I noticed that water doesn’t have that pool smell anymore. Would definitely recommend this product, been using it for a short time, but I am very happy with the results.

Have been using this filter for about a month now and it has been great. I’m in Washington State where the water isn’t too rough but I could still tell how dry my skin and hair would feel after showers so I had to try something new. Ever since using this filter I can feel the difference in how the filtered water moisturizes my hair and skin.The item was delivered on time with no damage and it was very easy to install and itcame with an additional filter. Simple and perfect.

Update after 7 months - We just changed the filter, probably should have done it earlier, but we found so much stuff that I just wanted to share. As I mentioned before, the water where we live is hard, so I'm super happy with all the stuff the filter caught. I ordered this filter because one of my friends recommended it to me, I didn't believe it was going to make my skin smoother, but it really does work. I've been researching, and chlorine is really bad for our skin health, and not only skin, but hair, and lungs, when you shower with hot water, you breathe all the chlorine in the hot steam, and in the long run could be very bad for our health. So, I am really happy that I discovered this product and started using it, I love that it has vitamin C!! I had some questions,I wrote to them and they where very fast and clear in their response. I have no trouble in giving them a good review and recommend this filter
