Press either side button for 3 seconds to toggle the display sleep mode on and off.
The charger looks and feels well made. Having all the charging information per battery is great because Lithium Ion batteries are best left to discharge below 50% before recharging them. There are two buttons on the left hand side to display the charging voltage, amps and charge time. I dropped a star from the overall rating because the instructions did not mention how to stop the display going to sleep during the charge cycle (you press and hold either of the side buttons until the whole display flashes once to toggle between sleep and permanently backlit). I also don’t like the fact that the backlight is too bright, meaning that if you don’t look at the information display straight-on, you start to see the whole underlying display structure and cannot see the actual charging information (see the photos). Apart from that little niggle this seems to be a very good battery charger that runs cool even when recharging 4 x 18650 cells.

Works well. Lots of info but will not charge a really flat Nicad battery
Easy to read display. Charges lots of different batteries. Not used li-ion yet though. Handy % charged display.Shows all the relevant info I need. It has two buttons on the left side that cycle between different display options.Rubber feet so it did not slide around,On AA and AAA NiMH batteries it defaulted to 0.5A charge per battery. The only down side is the charger did not charge an old battery that had discharged very low. I had to put that into my energiser aa, aaa NiCD/NiMH charger and it started to charge the flat battery. I then transferred that battery to this charger and it charged fine afterwards. So as long as the batteries have some voltage it works. Now if a battery is that low in voltage it should really be disposed of as it is probably not going to hold charge fir long, so really it works fine. Just being picky! A recovery mode would be useful in the future but as I said it works fine if the batteries are not totally flat.Have not tried setting different charge current yet on AA batteries. It has a lead for direct mains connection (so no adapter required) A DC input socket for the car but no lead is supplied for that. The charger ran only slightly warm while charging 4x AA NiMH at 0.5A so that is good too.Would be also nice to have an option to have the LCD illuminated low or off when the timeout expires as presently it just turns off. You have to press a button to wake it up to see how the charging is progressing when it’s dark.Overall not a bad universal charger

Charged the battery really fast and save time
It charged the battery really fast. Time saving especially when I needed the battery fast for my daughter’s toys. I like the display so I know the charging status of every single battery. No problem charging any brands of battery such as Energizer, Kodak, Duracell and GP. I can buy any rechargeable battery now ; )

A quality multi-charger and good value for money
I can't think why I didn't get this a long time ago! I can charge 4 x 18650 batteries simultaneously. The device came in its own bespoke sturdy box which i will use to store it when not on use. The clear display gives me a variety of readouts on each battery being charged. It looks a durable device but I've had it just a few days so it's not really been put through its paces. The charging time varies for each battery depending of course on how flat each was when the charger was switched on. The % charge on each battery is clearly displayed so you'd have an idea of how much longer it will take to reach 100%. So cool!

stay away
This charger arrived yesterday to charge up my vape batteries. I bought a new vape 10 days ago and some samsung batteries. I put the batteries in and was happy to see they started to charge, When I came back to the charger it said null on all batteries and slots. I thought that meant it had charged my batteries fully. I placed new expensive batteries into vape and nothing. I plug vape into wall and it says ... "check battery". I now have to work out who is responsible for replacing my now dead batteries.

Can it be trusted?
Decided to return the charger. As others have stated, the charge % indication can change dramatically if the battery is momentarily disconnected. Given this, how can one trust the indication and could this lead to over charging?? Otherwise the user interface is very good. NB there appears to be no difference between the Inlife version and Golisi version other than the label and price (in fact, Amazon sent me the Golisi one at the Inlife price).
