Seriously where has this product been for the last 16 years of my life as a kitty fur baby Momma!?! The BEST at catching literally EVERY piece of litter from their precious paws & throw back! The size is beyond amply, big enough to fit the medium sized box and length around & after to catch everything! Definitely don’t hesitate…a MUST buy for sure!!!

It is a very nice weighted mat but I don’t think it holds the stray litter better than any other mat I have used in the past. I even used suggestions about how to place the litter box so their exit is limited. I still have litter around the mat. Sorry, wish I could say it was great.

OMG what did I ever do without this jumbo litter mat! I am not one to leave reviews but this litter mat really works in trapping residual litter from little furry paws and keeps it contained. This is the 2nd mat I have purchased to overlap with the first one to provide a wider coverage area for litter control for my floor. No more litter tracked in my carpeting, rugs, and tile floor. The residual litter is trapped in the mat and easily vacuumed up without a mess.As some reviewers have mentioned the mat is folded when it arrives and does have creases which will relax in a few days. If you have cold winter days with a cold floor like I do, it may take longer for the mat to relax and lay completely flat. Solution is lay it in a warm sunny area to gently warm the mat so it will relax quicker.

Large enough for my area. Depending on the cat litter, it will still be tracked around the house.

After researching the many varieties of Cat Litter Mats available online, I selected the gray, Jumbo XX Large, 4x3 feet, Pawkins Cat Litter Mat and am very satisfied with my purchase. The floor vent in the laundry room where the cat box is located limits my space to only 30 inches wide, but the Pawkins mat is 36 inches wide. So I tucked the excess width up under the cabinets which actually helps to keep the cat litter from getting caught in the crack between the floor and the cabinet. Also, the mat is lightweight enough that I can pick it up to take outdoors to shake out the cat litter; I shake it outdoors about once per week. The mesh is just the right height so that the litter does not get caught in the mesh making it easy to clean by shaking or light vacuuming. It is actually the diamond-like pattern that contributes to catching the litter. I placed the litter box on top of the mat so the mat cannot move when the cat jumps on it. I have had this mat for about 6 weeks and so far, no cat litter has gotten onto the laundry room floor, it has all been caught on the mat. The mat feels sturdy but not too heavy, and I expect that it will last a long time. The mat looks brown in the attached pictures, but the color is truly a pleasant gray. The Pawkins logo is only imprinted on one corner. I do NOT recommend cutting the mat to fit in a space.

I've bought this one once before for a different home. Got the big one, and it catches easily 90-95% of trailed litter. Recommend you use clumping litter that is not marked lightweight. This mat is a godsend.

I have an unbeleivably MESSY cat.. Seriously, I think he holds the litter in invisible pockets & intentionally sprinkles it around. Then while I'm cleaning it he is around the corner tapping his fingers together menacingly laughing.. (Bwahahaha!!)I've tried everything to keep him from tracking EVERYWHERE & the only thing that even kind of worked was a similar 2x1 version of this mat. I was ecstatic to find one this size! Vacuuming about once a month or so with a hose to really get in there is all it needs to keep it working.I am fortunate enough to have never dealt with the urine getting trapped in it (like some people) but it is water proof & would be easy to hose down outside (or in a shower if you have to). It also stays put on linoleum but I wouldnt recommend small versions for carpet. My only complaint is the price is a tad high but it's the price I'm willing to pay to not have litter falling out of my every orifice. Plus I should never have to replace it bc of how durable it is.Update: Went from 5 to 3 because somehow my fur babies dug a hole in the mat a few months ago. I can still make it work but not as durable as I thought so makes it not worth the money for me any more. Still traps litter but I'm going to go with something cheaper next time. For over $40 there shouldnt be a next time.

It works well for the intended use. I don’t know about the water resistance as none has been spilled on it. I would have liked one a bit bigger, didn’t find one.

This mat is pricey but it has held up very well and it catches most of the cat litter from her paws. Vacuuming is quick and I wipe it with Lysol wipes once a week just for additional cleanliness.Well worth the money!
