Exactly what I was looking for!
I got this as a gift for my dad, and I read through a lot of reviews and almost didn’t buy this. But I was looking for indoor flat grill for him to cook dinners on, so I didn’t want to get the propane version even though was more highly reviewed.So to address some of the main concerns, the heat power level on the electric blackstone does take higher temps to cook a lot of food; the more food you’re cooking, the higher the temp you want to use just like with any other pans or when you’re cooking with oil the temperature will drop with more food in it. It took my dad one use, to get used to the different temperatures and then was able to utilize it perfectly for fajitas, burgers, breakfast, etc. I even used it for phillys and had onions on one side and meat on the other; no issues.Clean up is easy, oil drip pan works super well. Don’t feel dangerous to use lol and I love the extra add ones like the scapulas. It’s exactly what my dad wanted so 5/5 plus it’s portable if you try hard enough!

It's an investment, vs a purchase
HIGHLY recommend this product! Get the recommendationed seasoning/conditioning for after griddle usage, and do your research to properly clean it to preserve it. We cooked steaks, hibachi chicken, frozen broccoli, chicken marsala, etc, to perfection.

Returning – Doesn’t reach cooking temperature.
Returning, doesn’t reach cooking temperature. Open package and followed instruction for installation. Plugged into GFCI outlet with a 20 Amp breaker. Set heat to 400°, started preheating and the unit shutdown at 250°. After a few minutes it would turn back on, reset the heat and unit shutdown again at 250°. Tried multiple GFCI outlets, none of the outlets tripped any circuit breakers. Defective unit. After doing more research, this is a common reported issue with this product. I cannot recommend purchasing this product, back to my outside gas unit.

It’s so non stick. You need nothing.
Awesome product. You control the heat and you have two sides with two different temps.

Time to clean and quality
I only ever look for 2 things…The time it takes to clean the griddle was easy and takes less than a minute.The food I made didn’t take long at all either…
