Raja Tandoor packet says, the ratio 1 part to 13 parts yoghurt. Is that correct
I am doing chicken tandoori pieces on Sticks for about 120 people. Would one 400g pack be enough when mixed with yoghurt for this?

Just add a bit of this to some yoghurt and marinade your chicken, pork or beef in the fridge, it's soooo tasty. I don't have all the spices required for curry but like it to be really tasty, this does the trick. A friend of my Husband gave us some after attending a large bar-b-que in his garden. When it had run out I had to get some more, it lasts a good while too!

Great value and very tasty
£ for Lb probably the best available, previous mix I purchased was too salty and didn't seem to coat very well. Could be a little stronger, however this was my first attempt with this product. I will adjust ratios until I find my taste. Coats and blackens very well, will buy it again.

AUTHENTIC FLAVOUR
We love Tandoori Masala, with lockdown no Indian meals out. It arrived on time, so I mixed it with Yoghurt and marinated over night sealed. Took it out and cooked on skewers in my Ninja Grill, it was brilliant, nice and coloured with charred with a gorgeous flavour, it must be good my Partner used to met up with friends monthly for a curry, he said 'it's as good as restaurant we use' I would recommend you to try it, I will order again.

The best tasting Tandoori mix I have ever used and I have tried a lot ,It mixes well and the taste is amazing . Highly recommend , you won't be disappointed .

cheap as chips
I use this for my version of tandoori chicken. Chicken thighs, skin on or off, bone in or boned out. a couple of slashes on the thickest part of the meat. A generous dose of the masala, stir the chicken round so all is covered. add a couple of spoon full of yoghurt and refrigerate for a few hours. Grill on a high heat till it's done and you get the black scorch marks then eat. yumyum.

My Rajah Tandoori Masala powder order
I love Tandoori but like to make a sauce to go with my meal and the powder allows me to do this with vinigar or red wine vinigar if you have it mixed with Fromage Frais to a consistency you like and pour it over the meal. What a great addition to a great meal making it less dry & don''t forget the fresh lemons.

I found it had considerably more chilli heat than other brands I've used, so ended up using a level-ish teaspoon of powder to 1/2 large tub of yoghurt. This was enough to marinate a kilo of chicken pieces, they still had a kick, but was to our taste preference. I would say in all probability it would, but how many sticks per person are you doing? Tandoori drumsticks are immensely popular and people may eat 2 or 3. So whatever number you were thinking of double it and you'll need 800g. I'd also say buy extra spice mix just in case: you can always keep some in the cupboard after you finish. I use this mix most meals to cook chicken cubes before putting them in any curry sauce. Although marinading, even for a couple of hours produces a very soft tasty chicken, I often just lightly sautee the Tandoori spice in olive oil for a few minutes, then introduce the chicken and then add a sauce, cover all over. The red colour of the tandoori spice mix permeates the chicken and gives it a tangy taste (very much like tikka)."}}]}]}
