I’d buy this again. There are so many pieces so it’s not boring. And more than enough for two kids to use at once.

My niece loves this set and she would spend hours playing with this and clays. It would be nice if this came with some clays, we had to go to the store to pick up clays before we can play

My daughter LOVED THIS just be careful my daughter did cut herself with knife but she must have put pressure on knife because it is not sharp at all, but still great pieces!

I like this set a lot.The tools are great and like the cutter and plastic knives are just sharp enough to cut but be safe for kids and it also comes with a box to hold everything. The quality is good and these work well for kids and make great tools.

I admit that my Montessori educated child is now a teenager, and I never really cooked with him like I meant to. But hey, better late than never, right?This set is a great way to encourage independence and chopping and cutting skills in the kitchen, even for a "big kid" who just isn't used to handling sharp knives. These knives aren't scary or intimidating and work well for anybody learning to cook for the first time.Plus, you know how you need super sharp knives if you want them to properly slice through a tomato or an onion, for example, without slipping off and cutting you? Well, my knives always seem to be too dull to work very well, and that makes them more dangerous. These plastic knives, though, being serrated, cut through tomatoes, peppers, onions without slipping. I love that this set comes with an assortment of knife sizes. They are really easy to grasp and to cut with. The smaller ones are good for strawberries, mini peppers, cherry tomatoes. The bigger knives work well for onions, larger tomatoes, etc.The wooden knife is wonderfully tactile, and it's good for cutting cheese and softer fruits and veggies.The crinkle chopper is my favorite, though, and has become my go-to chopper for all sorts of things. It's amazing for chopping carrots, potatoes, broccoli. This piece is metal, however, so it does still feel sharp if you touch it. Make sure your child is aware of this because it's not as safe as the knives.I was surprised at how well the peeler works, especially considering it has no blade. I was able to peel a bunch of carrots easily with this peeler.The cutting board itself seems like just ordinary plastic on first glance, but what's interesting about it is that it doesn't appear to get cut up by the knives. It's very dense plastic, so it doesn't get cut marks and flake plastic into the food. That said, I have no idea if it's BPA free, so I'm not really sure how food safe it is. But it functions very well.The little bear and bunny cutters don't seem particularly useful to me because they are so small. I guess they might be fun for a little kid to cut bread or eggs with, but it's not easy to get something out of the cutters when you use them. Basically, you have to push it out by putting something narrow into the hole at the top of the cutter. All the other pieces are great, though, and quite useful.Ultimately, I'm going to use this set in my camper when we travel. It's easy to clean and covers all my cooking bases.
